We went to Greece for the first time. This country has attracted and beckoned me since childhood. . . The myths of Ancient Greece (necessarily wonderful Soviet cartoons filmed on the themes of these myths), ancient architecture, beautiful nature. . . And of course the famous ". . . Greece has everything" : )) In general, my expectations were justified "one hundred percent", as they say! I will not spread much - write, I will answer all questions.

Hotel "Lindos Princess" was chosen on the recommendation of friends and reviews on the Internet. The declared "4" is justified, but for us, not sophisticated tourists, the real "5" in general) Everything in the hotel is wonderful: accommodation, service, rooms. Awesome territory: beautiful, clean, well-groomed. There would be more greenery, but this "deal" will come with time. the hotel is new (built in 2002). I didn’t really like the pebble beach - it’s big, but somehow not very well-groomed compared to the rest of the territory, probably because the main contingent is Italians, Germans, British, who, as you know, are big fans of pools : )) Sunbeds and umbrellas are free and on beach and pools.
The food is excellent and, it seems to me, for all tastes. Well done waiters! I don't know why the Greeks are called lazy?? ? Our waiters were always friendly and spinning like squirrels in a wheel))
Drinks in bars are decent, beer is delicious. Ice cream in the snack bar and restaurant is free.
The room is spacious and in pleasant blue tones. For our daughter (11 years old) a rollaway bed with an excellent mattress was provided. The minibar is replenished free of charge every two days. Safe in the room is paid (30 euros for 12 days). Room cleaning is excellent every day, regardless of whether you leave a couple of euros or not. The air conditioner worked well. The TV is small, but it didn't matter to us. There is only one Russian-language channel - "RTR Planet".
Be sure to rent a car! In the lobby (at the "reception") sits a representative of "Rhodos Car" Mr. Anastasio. He speaks Russian. Great guy. Car class "Nissan Micra" costs 35 euros per day. If more than a day, then cheaper. True, the price of gasoline "bites" - 1.70 euros per liter of the "95th". We first took a car for two days and traveled almost the entire island with a guide. And after a couple of days, they realized that they wanted to see a few more places and took the car for another day. If you have a navigator, take it. It is difficult to get lost in Rhodes (the island is 76 km long and 36 km at its widest point), but the navigator helped a lot when turning away from the main tourist roads. What a beautiful Rhodes! In addition to Lindos, Rhodes and other places popular with tourists, you MUST visit the so-called "kiss of the two seas", where the Mediterranean and Aegean seas merge - an unforgettable experience is guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!
The animators at the hotel are young guys. It appears to be active. But basically their whole program is designed for Italians, British and Germans. Although there is one guy and one girl who speak Russian. We are not fans of animation programs, so we did not suffer much from this. Once in the evening they went to see a magician, but in this case everything is clear without words.
The hotel has Russian-speaking staff: a girl named Barbara is at the reception, a waitress Maria is in the main restaurant, and there is also a guy named Ivan (originally from Moldova) who helps to bring suitcases, etc. A BIG THANK YOU to all of them!! ! In general, the entire staff of the hotel is very friendly, always with a smile and always ready to help. Knowledge of elementary phrases in English will not hurt. And if you learn the basic phrases in Greek (hello, goodbye, thank you, etc. , etc. ), then the Greeks will treat you, it seemed to me, especially warmly.
Children's animation is present. Our daughter did not go to the kids club, but the children's animators were always in sight, always messing around with the kids.
In general, the hotel, of course, is designed for families - everything is done for this. Young people will be bored here. But if you like a quiet relaxing holiday - you are here.
Near the hotel there are shops, taverns. If you are traveling around the island by car, dine in the numerous taverns and preferably in small towns or villages. Prices are lower here, and the atmosphere is warmer. But the portions in all Greek restaurants, cafes and taverns are huge!!!
