Good day!
I went alone for a week in the Mediterranean from the tour operator Fenix tour. I will say right away - one week is clearly not enough. It is better to go for 12 days. We were met at the airport without any problems, taken to the bus and helped with hotel accommodation. By the way, consider the time of arrival, because. in many hotels check-in from 12 noon. For example, I had to cook for about an hour, and I was late for breakfast, so I was still hungry. The hotel is located very well: across the road the Mediterranean Sea, 2 minutes through the area - the Aegean. The Old Town and Mandraki Port are 5-10 minutes away. Directly opposite the Casino, a little further to the left is the Aquarium. For lovers of nightclubs, a whole street with entertainment is 5-10 minutes walk (usually at 4-5 in the morning life is already quiet there). Head towards the Aegean towards the noise and you can't go wrong : ) The best club is Colorado (at the very beginning of the street opposite the strip bar) and Big brother (a little further down the street).
The staff at the hotel is very friendly, not intrusive, always goes to meet. Cleaners in the room never caught (invisible? ). Shampoo, gel and cream are always reported (they didn't give toothpaste!! ). Special thanks to the waiters. I fell in love with everyone and immediately for their sincere smiles : ) They feed for slaughter : ) The only negative is that in the evening all drinks are paid. You can eat both indoors and outdoors. In the lobby of the hotel there is a bar with delicious Pina Colada : ) The prices for cocktails are almost the same as in Russia.

There are no Russians at all in the hotel, almost no young people either. You will not find Russian youth in a hotel during the day with fire. Therefore, it's just a great opportunity to practice English, which everyone here knows : )
Municipal beaches, sand with pebbles, sun loungers and umbrellas for 1.80 euros per day, but it is easier to buy a mat, which are sold at every step from 80 lepta to 4 euros. It was enough for me personally for a week : ) The Mediterranean Sea with the purest water, fish swim 10 meters from the shore, so I really regretted that I didn’t take a mask with fins. The Aegean Sea with awesome waves, but also with awesome wind! Five steps from the shore, the water is already up to the neck and the waves are knocking down. It even froze in the evening : )
Getting lost in the city is almost impossible, but I managed. Saved by the locals. A few words in Greek and all roads are open to you : )
In the old part of the city at the end of Aristotle Street, which never sleeps like our Old Arbat, there is a cozy Panorama cafe. From the third floor (a spiral staircase you just swing : ) a very beautiful view of the city opens up. By the way, the whole old city, and many places besides, are lined with pebbles, so you obviously don’t look like heels here. choose comfortable shoes. In the evening, I strongly advise you to visit Anthony Quinn Bay - a very romantic, quiet and peaceful place, with a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. You can also see Sirtaki and dance in the incendiary place Blue Laguna (again, near the port of Mandraki on the right side), every evening a lot of local people gather there, folk songs are sung.

I also advise you to visit Lindos with its streets going up to the sky and funny donkeys (do not deny yourself the pleasure of climbing to the acropolis on them), I also swam on about. Simi with its stunningly beautiful dollhouses, famous sponges and small shrimp (by the way, the portions here are huge, and you can catch fish almost with your hands from the pier), was at the Emery winery (one of the main wine producers, prices are lower than in duty free) , at the southernmost point of the island there is a place Prassonisi - a kiss of two seas - an isthmus of 200 meters, where the difference is clearly visible, but the road is very tiring, so see for yourself. For me, it was easier to look at the sea from the balcony left and right. By the way, at every step you can rent cars and motorcycles. Roads with two lanes. Greek drivers are just terrible, so be careful. I was also on Filerimos: the old church, the path to Calvary, a huge cross with an observation deck, peacocks walk everywhere, the beauty is indescribable. The 200-meter narrow dark tunnel at 7 springs is clearly not for claustrophobes, but an amazing uplift at the end of the journey. Butterfly Valley and Mount Smith with its acropolis (or rather, its remains) can be reached independently by city bus. Price from 1 to 5 euros. Parking near the port of Mandraki behind the market (New Agora), it is cheaper to take a taxi from the parking lot than to order, paid by the meter. In the evening and at night, the rate increases.
If you are interested in something else, I can tell you a lot, ask : )
In general, the island is very beautiful. And if this wasn't heaven, what was? All to Rhodes! : )
