We rested at the Mitsis Rodos Maris Resort & Spa in June 2016 together with my husband. We arrived at the hotel at two o'clock in the afternoon, they immediately issued bracelets and said that we could leave our things and have dinner, in an hour they would give the keys to the room, and it was so. We ended up in a bungalow overlooking the sea, in front of the room there is a lawn with a table and chairs, a minute from the sea. The room had a welcome bottle of wine and fruit. Change of towels and bed linen, replenishment of the mini bar was every other day. The territory of the hotel is all in greenery and flowers, trees and shrubs grow. There are mini markets and a hairdresser on site. Across the road from the hotel there is a supermarket, shops with souvenirs, clothing, mini attractions for children.
Meals: Lots of fruits, berries, delicious desserts (including my favorite shortbread cookies, hot waffles with chocolate paste), hearty breakfasts. On the beach there is pizza, sandwiches.
For dinner there was always a wide variety of dishes: soups, meat, fish, side dishes. Always in the restaurant there was ice cream of different varieties, which you can impose yourself in unlimited quantities. Drinks (including tea and coffee for breakfast) and spirits are brought by the waiters. Many complained about the line at the restaurant, but you had to stand in line for no more than 2-3 minutes, and as a result you will be taken to a ready-made clean table. There are restaurants by appointment, we visited them all! Italian restaurant. On the menu, it differs from the main one by the presence of pizza and two types of pasta. Buffet. Well, it’s more pleasant, of course, to sit in a more relaxed atmosphere than in general. Everything in a Greek restaurant is delicious! And it is better to sign up for it immediately upon arrival, as it is a rather popular institution.

Daytime animation was held both on the beach and near the pool - bocha, volleyball, gymnastics, etc. , there were evening shows. Animation is also Russian-speaking.
The beach is sand and pebbles near the surf line.
We rented a car from a company at the hotel, although there are outside the hotel, but we did not take risks. The island is unrealistically beautiful - the city of Rhodes, Lindos, the place of Prasonisi - the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas converge there, a huge number of gorgeous beaches. We didn’t take excursions, we went and looked at everything ourselves, they give a map of the island at car rental.
The hotel is good with friendly staff. And another piece of advice from practice - the evenings are cool, take either a jacket or something to put on your shoulders. There is a shower in the common area of ​ ​ the hotel, so if you have a late check out, you can use it to wash off the sea salt.
