We liked the hotel, a lot more pluses than minuses.
Territory: large, beautiful, well-groomed. The hotel stands on a hill and therefore the architecture is quite interesting and intricate (for example, we found the amphitheater only on the second evening : -)). But the sea view is just amazing.
Number: I immediately advise you to pay extra for a sea view, otherwise it may turn out that other vacationers will constantly walk past you - many rooms go inside to the garden or pools (there are several of them in the hotel). We paid extra (not much) and lived in the main building on the top floor above the entrance. At first they thought that it would be noisy from the approaching cars and buses - but no, absolutely nothing disturbed, and all 12 days enjoyed the seascape.
The room is cleaned cleanly, towels are changed every day, bed linen - every two days. For some reason, tips were taken only twice, although they were left daily. Beach towels were changed at the reception.

Nutrition. We had "all inclusive premium" and as we understood, only Russians have this type of food. On the day of arrival, we were wearing black bracelets (disgusting, of course, but we periodically took them off), all foreigners had orange and pink ones. The food is delicious, the choice is large, but in the end, of course, it gets boring. Cons: Not enough seafood. Plus - a very good dessert table. Any drinks throughout the territory and on the beach, where tips are especially loved - they thank you and offer delicious cocktails (much better than in a hotel).
The hotel staff speaks English and begins to learn Russian words (due to the fact that the hotel has just appeared on the Russian market).
What is really unfortunate there is the animation team. And the point is not that they do not speak Russian (this one is just nonsense), but in unprofessionalism. They dance somehow, the comedy numbers are boring, and in some places vulgar. More or less they succeeded only in competitions such as karaoke, Mr. Hotel, dance - among the guests of the hotel.
The beach is good - small pebbles, and clean. Although we were from the beginning of the season - maybe that's why it's clean : -) Only small tables under umbrellas were missing. The sea in May is +20 degrees, so cheerful. Who is not afraid of the cold - just right. In general, in Rhodes, as we were told, the sea warms up only by September + 25-26 degrees and does not cool down until November.
The weather was hot, up to +33, only at the very beginning it rained twice. And in the summer, as the guides said, it doesn’t rain at all in Rhodes.
In general, I gave the hotel 4+ - it doesn’t pull on the top five in places. But if you are not looking for supernatural service, but just want to have a good and inexpensive rest in a clean, comfortable hotel with delicious food, I advise Mitsis Rhodes Village. By the way, we visited the neighboring Rhodes Maris from the same Mitsis chain - it turned out to be much simpler and less comfortable (this was also told to me by the manager at the Southern Cross).
Excursions. We took two - to the city of Rhodes itself and a cruise to the island of Symi. Everything else can be seen by yourself if you take a car, which is very convenient there. We took two days and everything was in time.
Very good host company - Beleon Tour. Everything is accurate and on time, friendly and knowledgeable guides. The hotel guide Elena is constantly on duty in the evening and in the morning - a wonderful girl. She will answer any questions and help you with everything.

I can fully attribute the same good words to the "Southern Cross" - another time to Greece only through them.
