Отдых на Родосе Holidays in Rhodes

While returning from Rhodes, I thought to immediately write a review, as the reviews of other vacationers played an important role in my choice of hotel. And suddenly, someone will come in handy!
So, we rested as a family: with my husband and son (6.5 years old). The hotel is located 10 min. from the airport, so the sounds of planes landing or taking off will constantly accompany you. However, you can't hear anything in the room. The hotel itself is very good, everywhere is very clean, the lawns are very well maintained, the trees and shrubs are bizarrely trimmed. The pools are clean (cleaned every 2 days). There is no trash on the beach. And I really liked the fact that the sun loungers are on the grass on the beach. Beach towels are issued at the beach bar in exchange for special cards. It should be noted that in the morning you need to hurry up to take the sun loungers, as after breakfast it can already be problematic.
Our room was the most ordinary. Pretty spacious. Cleaned there every day, bed linen changed daily too. But the safe was not lucky: it was broken, and we could not get it fixed. Three times at the reception we were told: "Tomorrow! ", but "the move did not reach. "

By the way, the main language of communication is English. Only one waiter speaks Russian. And that's it! Therefore, I had to remember the entire vocabulary of school times and a phrasebook turned out to be useful.
There were no problems with food. Breakfasts and dinners are excellent. All autumn is delicious! Great desserts! ! But, as many have already noted here, during dinner, drinks (everything! ) Are paid. And the prices - very immodest! Example: 2 glasses of red wine and 1 glass of juice for a child = 13 euros. And in the supermarket a bottle of wine = an average of 4-6 euros. A supermarket is located a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There we bought food for lunch (various cheeses, olives, fruit, meat and ham). The prices are normal.
Mineral water and beer were also bought in the supermarket directly in packages. There is a refrigerator in the room. Beer on the beach (1 glass) will cost you 4 euros. Buy in the store: from 0.65 to 1.2 euros.
After dinner we drove to Rhodes. It's not far - 10 minutes by taxi. If you call a taxi to the hotel, the trip will cost 14 euros, and if you move a little away from the hotel, let's say to a supermarket, and stop a taxi there, then it will cost 10 euros. I liked the city very much! By the way, there is something to see, and good shopping!
Once we got out on a sightseeing tour of the island. I liked it very much, although I was tired for the whole day! We took the tour from our operator (Pegas Touristik). Perhaps expensive (250 euros), they say, if you take it in Rhodes - 3 times cheaper. But at least everyone here is Russian-speaking. We do not regret at all!
Yes, they also warned that there are a lot of mosquitoes here, so we were fully equipped, but nothing was needed. We didn't see mosquitoes.
The weather was very good. It doesn't get hot here, as the breeze is constantly blowing. Therefore, it is easy to burn on the beach! In the evenings - cool, but not to such an extent that it is directly insulated! The sea was a little stormy for two days, but this did not prevent us from swimming. Although, most prefer to swim in the pools (there are several of them). And you can’t pull a child out of the water at all!

So we LOVED it! ALL!! ! If you want a good and quiet rest, choose this hotel! You will not regret!
