We rested at the Sensimar Port Royal Villas & SPA in late August - early September 2011. The hotel is excellent. The staff is very friendly, everyone smiles and says hello. The contingent of vacationers: about 35 percent Russians, 40 percent Germans, the remaining 25 percent - the French, Italians, Poles, Ukrainians. Spacious rooms with modern furnishings, Jacuzzi bath, designer plumbing, spacious closets, safe, hairdryer, kettle. We had a sea view room on the second floor (bungalow type hotel). The best rooms are suites with their own pools (there are only six of them in the hotel, in my opinion). The Beach Front rooms are also very well located. Two large outdoor pools. Very nice lighting in the evenings. The beach is sand with small pebbles. The entrance to the sea is not very convenient, there are a lot of rather large stones, but there is a small sandy area along which it is convenient to enter the water. You can also solve this problem with the help of special slippers, which are sold at every turn in the village of Kolymbia, where the hotel is located. Food - just super, excellent breakfast (even champagne was served in the morning! ), great dinner. Daily several types of meat and fish (shark, swordfish, halibut, pike perch, cod, flounder, salmon), seafood (squid, octopus, cuttlefish, shrimp, mussels) and as hot or cold appetizers, and as main dishes, various vegetables (raw, grilled, stewed, fried), spaghetti, rice, beans, mushrooms, desserts are innumerable, a lot of fruits (both for breakfast and dinner), ice cream, and so on, so on, so on. . . True, drinks at dinner are all paid. The hotel is located in the village of Kolymbia, where there are many different souvenir shops, taverns, bars and supermarkets. I highly recommend the NIKOS tavern - very tasty and inexpensive, and the portions are simply huge (it is quite possible to limit yourself to either one Greek salad, or just a hot dish). Fast service, open all day. Among the shortcomings, if it can be called such, I would like to note: they clean the rooms late (not earlier than 2-3 pm, or even later), there is a noisy hotel with "rich" animation nearby (Irena Palace, mostly Italians rest there ). But in principle, this did not really interfere, since the sound insulation in the room is good, you can not open the balcony at night, since the room has its own air conditioner. It didn't bother us. There is not much entertainment in the hotel itself, I would also not advise traveling with small children (there is nothing for them, except for one swing), although there were tourists with such (only from Russia and Ukraine, though). There is a bus stop 7 minutes walk from the hotel, from where you can get to Rhodes, Faliraki, Lindos, Prasonisi. A ticket to Rhodes costs 3.50 euros one way. The ride takes about 45 minutes, the buses are crowded, as the interval of movement is from 30 minutes to two hours. You can also take a taxi (the cost is about 31-33 euros). I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday for couples. I hope my review will be useful to someone and help to decide on the choice of hotel.
