I agree with the previous review! The hotel is not bad, the location is also 5 minutes to the Aegean Sea, 8-10 min. the other way to the Mediterranean. It is interesting to visit two seas at the same time, but they differ dramatically, even in color. The Aegean is always not calm, violent - the dream of surfers, turquoise in color, while the Mediterranean is calm, affectionate in color dark blue. in detail? It just really impressed me! )) Although the breakfasts are monotonous, they are clean and comfortable, they are open from 7 to 11 in the morning, so some managed to have breakfast twice))) I agree with the previous opinion about the number - everything is simple, but quite normal ! The staff is polite and ready to help. Bed linen and towels were changed every day, a TV with two Russian channels, air conditioning and a refrigerator worked properly. There is no hotel territory as such, the pool is small (and for some reason the pool bar never worked), but this is normal for an urban-type hotel. The Greeks, in general, are friendly, intelligent people, ready to communicate. . . You should learn a few words in Greek, they are very sensitive to this. By saying "thank you" in Greek to a waiter at a tavern, you might get a wonderful dessert bonus! ! Although such bonuses are accepted almost everywhere. Greek cuisine requires a special conversation! Incredibly delicious! There are countless cafes, taverns and restaurants around the hotel and in the Old Town. When choosing an institution, it is better to choose a tavern - cheap, very tasty, always fresh food and fish. The restaurant is also not bad, just more pretentious. In the bar you can only eat something like a dog move or shawarma (pita in Greek)), drink coffee or a glass of beer. Lunch costs around 25-30 euros for two. The portions are very large, so for the first time try to take one salad, for example, and one hot dish for two. For the first time, out of ignorance, we took a plate of seafood for two people - we didn’t eat it, we just couldn’t! Although everything was incredibly tasty! Together with 2 glasses of beer, this lunch cost us 50 euros (it was the most expensive lunch). Tip, as elsewhere in Europe, it is customary to leave 5-10% of the order. In supermarkets, everything is quite cheap: 0.5 liters of Greek beer - 1-1.5 euros, 1 liter of wine. - 3-5 euros, not very expensive fruits (it is better to buy in the market in the Old Town), it is much more profitable to buy water at once in a pack of 6 pieces. x1.5l = 3.5 euros (and a 0.5l bottle of water costs 0.8-1 euros). As for cigarettes - buy in Russia. There are not many Russians at all, mostly Scandinavians, British, Germans. but they say Russians come every year more and more. The staff and locals are fluent in English, so stock up on a dictionary if you are not friendly with English. The nightlife is in full swing! The hotel is located in the city of Rhodes, so you don’t have to go far: bars, discos on every corner. All the same, this place is not for a relaxing family holiday with children! Basically, the entrance to the disco is free, but there are a couple of clubs where the entrance is 10 euros per person, but at the same time two drinks (per person) are given to choose from for free, so that's what it comes out to. But with live musicians on stage, playing modern themes well, it’s very fun and you can dance. For example, the Colorado club - we really liked it there. We rented an ATV for 20 euros per day, the plastic license came up in category B. As for the police, yes, we didn’t meet a single one either, but it’s really better not to risk it. The roads are very narrow, the locals drive motorcycles, sometimes very fast, but they are locals for that. It took us a while to get used to. The overall impression and memories are only positive, a beautiful and very beautiful island! Have a nice holiday and warm greetings to the beautiful island of Rhodes!! !
