Excursion tour in Greece
Once in Greece once, I can say with confidence that you will not exchange it for any other country. Personally, I want to go back there again and again. I would like to lead the same unhurried, measured rhythm of life, forgetting about the bustle of our cities, drinking frappe, sitting on the Embankment, and looking at the sea, which fascinates. Being in such an atmosphere, I want to stay here and not go anywhere.
This time our choice fell on the excursion program. I wanted to see everything we heard about at school, to remember all the myths that have long been forgotten. The tour was called "Ancient Greece". But in the end we got even more.
We understood this already in the evening on the second day, when we arrived in Kalambaka. Before that, we had already been to Meteora, really amazed by this place. This is not only a natural miracle, not only an Orthodox place. This is a place where, standing on the very top of one of the monasteries, goosebumps ran down my skin from the view that opened before me. If you have not been there, open the photos on the Internet right now, or better - go for a ticket! But just try to imagine yourself right now at the foot of these bizarre rocks at night. On this day, I really regretted that I was not born in Greece. It really is not forgotten.
And the Parnassus Mountains in Delphi! The nature of Greece is definitely unique!
In addition to the fact that we were able to get to that same Ancient Greece, we were also able to touch the navel of the earth, drank some water from the Kastalsky spring, where, as we were told, Pushkin wanted to go. It's a shame it didn't make it.
The legendary Parthenon in Athens! It seems that this is where the rest of Greece comes from. Unfortunately, when we were in Athens, it started to rain. But… We bow before the guide Lefteris. After his words: “Yes, rain. But I want you to see EVERYTHING! ”, we didn’t resist, followed him, watching his every move, absorbing his every word, this is really a guide from God!
Well, in the end, we climbed Mount Olympus, saw exactly the place where Zeus himself sat.
I cannot list everything, the program is very rich and very interesting! As a result of the tour, we can say for sure that we are madly in love with this country, completely and irrevocably.
