Initially, when choosing a tour, the main characteristics for us were: clear sea, beautiful nature, good food and excursions. As a result, what they fought for - they ran into something (in a good way). So lovers of relaxation in Turkish and Egyptian styles may not waste their precious time reading this review!
So, from 25.07. 2007 to 08.08. 2007 rested in Greece, Halkidiki, the second finger - Sithonia. Hotel Anthemus. Room 115. I will not describe my impressions of the country, as the purpose of this review is to tell the whole truth about the hotel. Briefly: Great!
I'll start in order:
The hotel is very nice, small and cozy, the staff is friendly, but without fanaticism. In Moscow, a room was ordered with a sea view. Indeed, number 115 faces the sea, but since it is on the first floor and there are many trees, the sea is practically invisible. But this is not scary. The room turned out to be a two-room suite with two terraces where one could relax listening to music in the evening.
Everything is audible, but you are not visible : ) Class!
We went to the sea straight barefoot from the room ....The beach is clean, but small. If you want to take a break from people, you can walk to the right or left ...very beautiful, especially Lagomandra beach. The sea is crystal clear, the bottom is sandy, sometimes pebbles...Where the stones can be found hedgehogs...Jellyfish once sailed (beautiful).
There is a supermarket on the territory of the hotel, but there is a small selection, and the prices are very high (there is no fruit). It is better to use the services of the hotel's free bus, which runs every day at 9.30 and 10.30 to the village of Neos Marmaras, where you can buy fruits, souvenirs, take a walk, sit in cafes. The bus picks up in three hours. Travel time 15 minutes. About evening leisure: the hotel has live music every evening, and you can also take a walk along the seashore and watch a beautiful sunset! There is no more entertainment. Although you can take a taxi to Marmaras ....there are bars and discos!
The food is excellent: everything is (absolutely) very fresh, tasty ....a huge selection: a lot of fruits, juices ...I have never had stomach problems.
