I booked the hotel myself. We spent a week in Thassos and the second week we were "attached" to the choice of friends. And they chose this hotel through a travel agency. I booked a deluxe suite with a sea view on the hotel website. I asked for a room with a terrace and a larger area. Half of the drawers in the cupboards do not function, the furniture is made of cheap MDF. Room for 4 people, from dishes - 3 glasses, 3 cups. Not one spoon. There is one pillow per person on the bed. That is, there is no choice of pillows provided in a five-star hotel. The bedspread on the bed is all in huge stains. Plumbing with lime. The bathroom has a hydromassage shower panel, we did not use it. There is a large acrylic bathtub, but it was not possible to take baths - due to problems with the sewerage, water came from a hole in the floor and poured into the room. There are some plaster stains on the ceiling. Everything is not critical, tolerably. But we did not get any charm, comfort or charm from this room. For a deluxe suite, everything is somehow "clean and poor. "
Service. Everyone is very polite, but. . . but that's where it ends. After problems with the sewer, she asked to call the master. The technician came right away and fixed everything. At the same time, she asked for a couple of pillows and another cup and glass. By the evening, without waiting for all this, I reminded at the reception. Pillows were brought, but without a glass and a cup for the child, they lived until the end of the holiday. Bought at the supermarket, no big deal. The stained bedspread was changed on the third day, although I did not mention it.
Beach. After the sands of neighboring beaches, the stone chips of this beach disappointed. But it is only to the water's edge. Next is the golden sand of Halkidiki. The sea is wonderful, calm, warm. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. In the morning they paid at the bar on the beach, then the waiter released the umbrella and sunbed from the chains and the lock and - go ahead!
Restaurant. The food is normal, I will not slander. There is always a choice. We liked to go for our money to the tavern and the restaurant on the roof. We had half board paid and you can go to these places, then 10 euros per adult and 6 per child will be deducted from the check for food. We liked it there more. Quiet, calm, a la carte. The tavern was very tasty, the restaurant on the roof was delicious and creative : ), a kind of Greek fusion. And there is no this terrible noise of the canteen, waiting for the table to be laid. The main restaurant is very noisy and the waiters are driven. One evening we simply did not go to dinner, we went to Neos Marmaras to a tavern. I have no complaints about the quality of the hotel food. Someone wrote about fresh juices for breakfast . . These are not fresh juices. These are vitamin cocktails : ). Jupi is mixed with fresh juice and fresh fruits and berries. The result is yupi with pulp : ). I took water.
