My husband and I rested in Gerakina Beach from 06/27/10-11/07/10.14 days.
About the hotel in order:
The territory is spacious, green, with fruit trees and a playground. Opposite the restaurant there is a shop with everything you need - food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, beach accessories, souvenirs. Prices for all products offered are not higher than outside the hotel. For example, olive soap and vacuum-packed olives are even cheaper than in other markets.
The infrastructure of the hotel is the main building, two-story bungalows, a restaurant with a summer terrace where we ate, a beach, an open-air swimming pool and a beach bar where you can have a bite to eat at lunch and drink in the evening. On Fridays, you can listen to Greek music at the beach bar.

Number - we settled in the building in a standard room. We stipulated this condition when buying a ticket, the only thing we did not pay attention to was the view from the room. And got a view of the parking lot and the road. Our ticket indicated a land view - a view of the territory, we did not attach any importance to this, but on the spot we got a view of the parking lot. Change did not work even for an additional fee. 4 euros / day as the hotel was full. So, take a garden view (garden view) or a sea view. Of course, we spent little time in the room, but I like a good view, so it bothered me a little.
Everything worked in the room, the plumbing was in good condition, a TV with Russian-language channels, as the guide told us, there are no Russian-language channels in the bungalow, so if anyone chooses a bungalow, pay attention. Air conditioning was stationary, there is a refrigerator.
The room itself is decorated in a Mediterranean style: white walls, wooden furniture.
The beach is spacious, the main part is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers for an additional fee of 7 euros / day, if you take it immediately for a week, then they will throw off 10 euros, that is, it will come out at 6. We took it for 10 days and on those days when we left they warned us and transferred payment the next day.
Many bought mats and umbrellas and settled where they found space. Arrogant Romanians, for example, climbed right in front of the sunbeds and blocked the view of the sea with their umbrella, but mostly normal people found a place where they did not interfere with anyone.
The sea is clean, the entrance is rocky, so take swimming slippers with you, or you can buy them on the spot. There are sea urchins but not many.
Meals - breakfasts (sausages, yogurts, canned peaches, scrambled eggs, stewed vegetables, toast, jams, Greek milk pie - it's very tasty given every other day, tea, coffee, in my opinion, instant) we had enough assortment. Dinners - meat is always at least two types, fried fish alternated with chicken every other day, side dishes - potatoes or rice, Greek snacks from feta and eggplant, stewed vegetables, fresh, etc. Fruits - watermelon, peaches every other day. Ice cream in an unlimited number of types, five, you can dial on your own, which made the children and my husband incredibly happy.
Drinks for dinner for an additional fee, we took water 1.5 liters for 1.5 euros and wine 500 ml for 4.8 euros. Wine homemade white and red pleasant to the taste, dry. There are other drinks on the menu.

Excursions - Greece is a country in which there are so many interesting things that you should definitely try to see as much as possible. We took three organized excursions to Thessaloniki for 40 euros per person and a combined Meteora + Athens 200 euros per person and extra. the entrance to the acropolis and the historical museum in Athens is paid another 17 euros / person. Excursions are expensive but not badly organized. We were satisfied with the trips and we were lucky with the guide Konstantin, with whom we were in Athens and Meteora.
We also traveled to the nearest towns of Neo-Moudania and Polygyros by bus, a ticket costs about two euros per person. The towns are pretty and there are more shops than near the hotel. The bus stop is next to the supermarket, which is located opposite the Oasis tavern, if you stand with your back to the hotel. The bus schedule is available at the hotel at the information stand.
As for the infrastructure near the hotel, there is no shortage of cafes and shops. We most often bought groceries in the supermarket opposite the Oasis tavern, where the assortment and prices are the most normal. There is also a place where you can walk - this is a small promenade, at the end of which there is a cafe from the Poseidon hotel, there was live Greek music on Fridays in a very high-quality performance.
Have a good holiday everyone!
