We never rested in the apartments, but this time we decided not to spend a lot of money on hotels, but to go exclusively for impressions. We decided to stay at Christina Apartments in Halkidiki. We drove from the airport for an hour and a half, somewhere. It was still hot in September, so the air conditioning in the bus worked, and what impressed me the most was the free Wi-Fi. Unexpected, but nice. We arrived at the hotel. The area is small, but everything is neat and clean. The path to the entrance is full of flowers. We booked a two-story room, because we were traveling with four + a child. There is a kitchen with a stove, air conditioning, a veranda, dishes (of course). The room is clean, spacious considering the second floor. We ordered breakfast for all 5 days. Never regretted. There was no need to think about where to eat in the morning. The food was great at the hotel (eggs, toast, pastries, tea, coffee, cereal, milk, ham, omelettes, etc. ). And so we ate in taverns. Everything is delicious. We walked around Metamorfosi. I will say right away that the village is small, but, like everywhere else in Greece, everything is there. In any tavern you can eat for little money. Very tasty seafood, by the way. I think this is the first thing to try in this country. Yes, I forgot to say that there was a clothes dryer in the room and there is furniture on the balcony (table and chairs). Very convenient, in my opinion. Walk 300 meters to the sea. The road is good, you don’t need to wade through the bushes. We liked. For the money that we gave, more is not needed.
