Good day to all! I recently flew from sunny Greece to "harsh" Chelyabinsk and I hasten to share my impressions. I will try to tell about my journey in as much detail as possible, because I myself learned a lot of useful information from similar reviews (for which many thanks to everyone who wrote such reviews !!! )
So, I began to prepare thoroughly for my "May holidays": I read tons of information on the Internet, and chose the resorts of the Halkidiki Peninsula, for the chic coniferous forests, sandy beaches, etc. And, as it turned out, I was not mistaken! I chose the hotel, adhering to my requirements, namely:
1.3* or 4* because the budget is very limited;
2) the proximity of the beach - food with a child of 1.5 years;
3) the hotel should be located near settlements.

Porfi Beach Hotel turned out to be the perfect candidate for a small paradise for our company. There were four of us - me, my son, my mother and a friend.
The time of rest was also not chosen by chance, before the season, because. we love a quiet holiday, with as few people as possible, not hot weather (so that you can visit excursions), and the cool waters of the Aegean Sea (just right after our Ural lakes! ).
The tour was paid in advance, already in February, it turned out cheaper. For a flight and accommodation for 10 days with breakfast and dinner, 38 tr per person came out, for a child they paid 4000 r.
I also learned about all the excursions and entertainment in advance, and made up the entire recreation program at home. Finally, the long-awaited day has come. We flew at night from Chelyabinsk Airport to Macedonia Airport in Thessaloniki. The child fell asleep in the car, and safely overslept all the fuss with luggage and documents in a small stroller, which was taken from us right before boarding the plane, bypassing luggage, which is very convenient for the article : )
We flew on the plane of the Greek airlines Astra 4.20min. The stewardesses, respectively, are Greek, so they practically do not understand Russian, draw conclusions - without knowing English, you will not see a comfortable stay anywhere!
We arrived early in the morning, all the staff, and indeed the Greek people in general, as it turned out, are very friendly, kind and very, very fond of children. We were checked very quickly, our luggage was issued immediately, representatives of Mouzenidis Travel met us at the door, brought us to the buses, placed us, and in general we thank them very much for their well-coordinated and professional work.
We drove to the hotel for about an hour and a half, on the way we stopped at several hotels, dropped off tourists. Our hotel guides, Iraida and Odyssey, helped to bring things right to the room, they themselves agreed on settling.

At first we were offered a room on the second floor, but because we wanted on the first one with access to the courtyard of the hotel, we were provided with the desired one on demand. In half an hour the room was ready, there was a crib with bed linen.
Guides suggested additional excursions. We stopped on a trip to Meteora, a trip on a "pirate" boat - "Blue Lagoon", and a car rental for 2 days.
Everything, having finished with the formalities in 20 minutes, we finally look around and understand that we are in PARADISE!! ! The territory of the hotel is just like in a fairy tale: small, very well-groomed, all in flowers, palm trees, cedars and pines, a blue pool, and the sea, which is visible from almost everywhere.
Towels were changed in the room and they were cleaned every day, bed linen - after 3 days (starched sheets !! ), we left tips on the table, we didn’t take them, we caught the maids a couple of times and gave them personally. Small packs of shampoo, shower gel and soap were available.
Communication - FACE card, buy in any supermarket, guides bought us, 10 euros 2 hours 30 minutes of calls to cell phones - dialed directly from the room, after asking the reception to make an exit to the intercity 0 - 807 - 9803 - 3 - pin (written on the check) - 007 - cell number. You can also skype at the reception if you buy an internet card.
For shopping, souvenirs, we walked along the forest road 3 km, half an hour, to the village of Metamorfosi, we also dined there once in the Liana tavern (32 euros for three, meat dishes, salad, homemade wine). The owner of the tavern, most likely an Armenian, is very sociable!
In the village of Nikiti (4 km), we took a taxi (6 euros one way). Very beautiful old part (better by car), and the new one with the beach is also good! There are as many as 2 supermarkets in the village, but the prices in them are higher than in Metamorfosi stores, and walking is closer to them. We went almost every day for groceries and homemade wine. In general, the hotel has its own minimarket, but since we rested a little earlier than the season, the store was closed, and there were almost no vacationers.

The beach has clean coarse sand, at the bottom, at first, 2 meters of pebbles, then sand, there were hedgehogs among the stones, although we saw that they were removed almost every day. Sun beds on the beach are paid - 6 euros 2 sun loungers and an umbrella, but during our holiday we used them for free.
. Seafood prices here are lower than in other taverns, so we treated ourselves to the gifts of the Aegean Sea. Then swimming in the open sea near Turtle Island. They also promised to allocate time for a walk around the town, but it did not work out, the bus arrived earlier. On the ship during the voyage, the wind and the sun, so I advise my brother a hat and a windbreaker. I liked the boat trip very much, my son looked at the "deep blue sea" without stopping, we did not regret the money spent! 45 euros per person, including a small child.
On the first day we went to the Petralone cave and along Kassandra. We left in the morning right after breakfast. We reached the cave following the signs. We put the car in the parking lot, and a small train took us to the cave, which runs every 20 minutes, costs 2 euros - tickets are sold at the box office on the site, but you can also walk about a kilometer. The cave is interesting, if time permits, you can visit it, but I don’t think it’s worth going specially. They said that the cave has the cheapest souvenirs, but as it turned out, Metamorfosi shops are cheaper.
Having visited Petralone, we headed towards Kassandra. We went to some hotels just to look, stopped to swim on the beaches we liked.
; POPOYPOGLOY - there are the lowest prices for souvenirs, and also very kind sellers who speak a little Russian. Then, slowly drove around Sithonia, stopping at all the most beautiful beaches, of which there are a lot. By the way, we didn’t like the “vaunted” beaches of Vourvourou at all, at the tip of the finger the beaches are much more luxurious.
Now a little about the hotel:

Breakfast (from 7 am to 10 am) - a large selection, every day the same set of products, but everything is fresh and tasty. Milk and all dairy products cannot be compared with ours. From meat - every day fried sausages, bacon, and scrambled eggs, but on the last day, when there were more people, the meat was no longer enough for us. So in the season for breakfast you have to get up early! 
Dinners (from 19 to 21 h) are varied - fish, pork, beef, national dishes, a lot of cold appetizers, salads, always several different meat dishes, soups. For dessert - ice cream, pies, different fruits, there were always lemons, oranges, apples, kiwi, cherries, a couple of times watermelon. Drinks are paid.
In general, our vacation was a success!! ! weather, nature, people, and in general everything around, gave only positive emotions. The hotel staff was delighted with our boy, the waitresses set up a children's table, he eats on his own, which impressed them especially. Sometimes they themselves changed dishes for him (ice cream for dessert). The waitress at the bar spoke a little Russian.
Tips: take a first aid kit with you - it came in handy a couple of times - a friend stepped on a hedgehog, and a child on some kind of thorns, they took it out with a needle and processed it. There were practically no mosquitoes, but I advise you to take a fumigator for those who are especially sensitive. That's probably all, I will be very glad if my review is useful to someone.
And thanks to sunny Greece for a fabulous vacation!
