We had a family vacation in July in Greece at the Porto Carras Meliton hotel, located on the Chalkidiki peninsula. Gorgeous place, very quiet and relaxing family vacation turned out. Spacious room overlooking the harbor with yachts. The service is very good, cleaning of rooms, restaurant - all for 5.
The variety of cuisine was also impressive: always fresh fruits and vegetables, several types of seafood, meat, side dishes. The child went crazy for sweets, everything was very tasty. And for days on end I didn’t lick out of the children’s club, even the heat didn’t bother him)) The animators were just great fellows, they organized children’s leisure perfectly.
I would like to add a few words about the territory, I have not seen such greenery and in such quantity, the territory planted with pines and firs, eucalyptus smells, flowers, and the sea . . what kind of sea is there . . transparent, clean, warm, the beach is infinity long, in general , heavenly vacation!
Periodically, my husband and I looked into the SPA complex, everything is very clean, just worthy. They took massage sessions, and hammam. Sometimes we swam in the indoor pool. My husband ran to the gym in the morning so as not to lose shape after such a kitchen)
One day of their vacation was dedicated to shopping. There is an excellent Enigma shopping center an hour away. The son was given into the hands of professional animators of the children's club, which is located there, very conveniently. They themselves took up useful things: souvenirs, gifts, wine, olives, cosmetics and... a fur coat, I finally know firsthand what Greek fur is. The quality is excellent and the models . . I seem to have been choosing a fur coat for an eternity. There is a free bus to the mall every day, so we got there without any problems.
Now, in our Napoleonic plans for the next year, we will stay here again, because we didn’t have time to travel around such a wonderful country at all, it was a pity to lose the days of our already short vacation, but there is something to see in this country.
