Good afternoon! I hasten to share with you my impressions of the vacation that we spent with our daughter in sunny Greece. Perhaps for someone my notes will help in choosing a hotel.
We rested at the beginning of July 2016 at the Sithonia Village hotel.
We flew with Ellin Air. No delays, everything is on schedule. We were very satisfied with the food and service on board the aircraft.
We were met at the airport, escorted to our transport and comfortably delivered to the hotel. We spent about 1 hour 30 minutes on the road.
At the reception, our hotel guide Larisa met us and helped with the check-in.
The hotel area is beautiful, green and well-groomed: olive trees, pines, flowering plants.
Our room was very simple but cozy at the same time. You don’t need a lot to relax, I think - they came to the sea to swim, and not to sit in a room.

The room is furnished with everything you need: two beds, a wardrobe, a TV with Russian and Greek channels, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a bathroom equipped with a shower and a toilet. Room cleaning was carried out regularly, and bed linen was changed every 3 days, but if they asked on their own to change or report soap, for example, to the bathroom, they never refused.
At the reception there is a safe, the rent of which cost us only 5 euros for all 15 days.
Meals are standard. There was no particular abundance of various goodies, but we were never hungry. Meat, fish, side dishes, barbecue, salads, vegetables, fruits, desserts are always available. My daughter and I additionally bought various fruits near the beach: cherries, watermelons, peaches (approximately 1.5 euros per kilogram).
The beach at the hotel is good, clean, without stones and slabs. The entrance is gentle, uniform. The Aegean Sea is just a fairy tale! Clean, warm, transparent. Sometimes fish swam up to the shore and tickled us on the legs. It turned out such a fish therapy for free.
A little to the left is the city beach, which has sunbeds, umbrellas, music and a small beach bar. You can order a frappe (Greek iced coffee) for 3.5 euros and your sunbed for the whole day. A lot of locals come to this beach with children, but there was always enough space and it was clean. The Greeks, unlike ours, take out the garbage with them.
Went a couple of times to taste traditional Greek cuisine. In the village of Gerakina, in fact, on the territory where the hotel is located, there are small taverns. Reasonable prices (up to 10 euros per dish). Nice atmosphere, tasty and fresh food. We ordered seafood, salad and wine. Dinner cost about 20 euros.
Through the hotel guide Larisa went to Meteora. I liked it very much! I advise everyone! These are sheer cliffs, which, as the Greeks say, “soar in the clouds”, and on their tops there are monasteries. We also visited the icon-painting workshop and several viewing platforms. Left with very good impressions. We would like to thank the guide Konstantin for accompanying the tour, wonderful presentation of information and courtesy. We also went to Thessaloniki on our own by bus to buy souvenirs and, in general, see what the city is like. One-way fare - 7.5 euros by public transport. A beautiful Greek city, rich in history and architecture.

15 days of our vacation passed very quickly, but I want to return to this place again. We were pleasantly impressed by the hospitable Greeks, the Mediterranean climate and the Aegean Sea.
