The impressions about the rest are the most positive: a clean warm azure sea, a sandy beach (though not very clean thanks to smokers), wonderful weather, a very good hotel for its category. The hotel is really designed for families, as we were warned in the travel agency, but you can argue about the quiet. We had a sports ground under our windows and it was very noisy until 11.30 pm. The audibility on the balcony between the rooms is also very good, but this already depends on the level of culture of the guests. The hotel staff is quite friendly and helpful, almost everyone speaks Russian or English. They clean the room every day, linen and towels are changed after 2-3 days, even if you throw them on the floor - there is no reaction. The set of dishes for breakfast is constant, traditional. Dinners are very diverse for a hotel of such stardom. Umbrellas and sun loungers can be bought in the nearby village of Gerakini or rented at the hotel for 5 euros per day. I advise you to buy water at a nearby campsite, it is the cheapest there. In Gerakini (20 minutes walk, about 1.5 km) you can have a good time in all kinds of taverns and restaurants, as well as in shops. In Thessaloniki, we are terribly tired, not very informative, the main time is 3 hours in the area with Chinese shops. Maybe the guide was just unlucky.
