We stayed there for our honeymoon. We chose the island to the north and were not mistaken - the heat in Greece in the summer is terrible, moreover, it starts from 13-14 pm and until 18-19 pm. The island was just opened for tours for the CIS countries, so 30 percent were ours)) Basically - Germans, Hungarians, Balkans, there are Norwegians, many Greeks themselves. I’ll immediately express my FE to Mouzenidis - it doesn’t pull at 5, about any “handmade furniture” and there are no hints of this level in the hotel. But more about everything.
Pros. Incredible, clean, warm Aegean Sea, in which there are almost no sea urchins - we saw only one 1 time. The beach is clean, it was cleaned every morning, there are a few pebbles near the shore - this is rather a plus, during light waves and storms, the sand near the shore does not mess up and does not violate cleanliness. Algae brought only when it was stormy, but it was rare and uncritical. The island itself is very green and beautiful, our advice is to take a car and drive yourself, a sightseeing tour for 2 people will be more expensive than a car for the whole day - 34-38 euros plus gasoline, which is 1.7 euros in Greece. Nature is quite violent, plentiful, in general - beauty. The territory of the hotel is quite large, well-groomed, there is a pond with fish, and an excellent pool, and a bar right in the middle of it. We had excellent towels on the beach, there were almost always enough sunbeds, except for weekends - Greeks can come to any beach and relax, of course, on weekends, so there was overcrowding on Saturday and Sunday.
Minuses. I don’t know where they got 5 stars from - the reception sucks, the Russian-speaking employee is one who doesn’t know much about the world around him - each question caused a freeze for 5 seconds. A couple of other receptionists - or receptionists)) - English is spoken very poorly. Rooms: we had a standard double, the next level - with a sea view, cost 300 euros more, we decided not to spend money on it, although, as it turned out, there was a bath instead of a shower. An employee of Muzenidis - and the director of the agency issued me a ticket - in a blue eye promised me both a bathroom in the room and a good repair, having advised, however, the Makryamos hotel - at least she was guided in something. The food is not bad, but monotonous, juices - Yupi, fruits and the truth is often unripe. Drinks at dinner at your own expense, the most affordable bottle of water is 1 liter - 2.5 euros. A glass of good juice from the package - 3.5 euros, the same amount of tea from a Lipton bag, coffee - 3-4 euros. They didn’t take wine, nafik-nafik. You can’t take your own on the beach, the cost in the beach bar-bar at the pool-lounge bar in the hotel is the same: Mojito (rather average in taste) - 7.5 euros, Mitos beer - 4 euros per 0.4l, water - 2.5 euro liter and so on. They sent everyone to Yuh, bought a glass of Methos or a cocktail and freely refilled themselves on sun loungers - so did all the Russians and Ukrainians that we met there)) Internet only at the reception and around, price per day - 13 euros, hour - 3 euros. He didn’t fall for us, but the scale of impudence is impressive. An employee of Bomo Travel, who sells excursions (mostly 40 euros per brother, lunch and entrance to museums are not included), apparently, she herself first saw the list of attractions on our visit, climbed into a notebook for each question and looked for something, how much and where. On the first day, I threw a tantrum at the reception - we didn’t have the clearest number, the door in the shower booth jumped out every other time, and indeed - I wanted a bathroom and they promised me one. As a result, the representative of Bomo said that nifiga double classic does not guarantee a bathroom - for some reason I only found out about this in Greece, after an altercation I talked with the main Bomovets on the island - he apologized, said that it was high season and on Saturday I had a room with a bathroom give ok. On Saturday, a blinking Russian-speaking employee of the hotel said that they looked and did not find double classics with bathrooms as a class, they offered to move to rooms with a sea view - but with an additional charge of 20 euros per day. I waved my hand... The hotel is constantly being repaired, being completed, workers are constantly scurrying about with spatulas, paints, etc. - it’s good that they don’t start it up, but it’s not in season to do it... By the way, wine and fruit, like newlyweds, we they didn’t wait - but I’m used to the overlays of the Greeks... In a restaurant, if you don’t order drinks in the evening, the waiters really freeze in the morning, the dishes are cleaned sluggishly, they are dressed like employees of a shawarma point, they rarely smile - I really liked a couple of employees, they worked quickly and always wished "have a nice day". They say that the Greeks do not sink to such work and Albanians and other poor people work there as waiters . .

Summary: the Greeks are extremely lazy, although not sticky like the Turks, this is noticeable in everything. Don't be embarrassed by the fact that I scribbled more in the minuses than in the pros - I have a rich travel experience and I know how it should be in hotels. In fact, this is a human and organizational factor, you can simply take a break and relax - as we did when we entered the course. Greeks go nafik, nature, sea, island - fire and we enjoyed this and each other for 10 days)
Good impressions to you! !
