We rested at the Macedon Hotel on the island of Thassos (Limenas). We really liked this small, quiet, family run hotel. The hotel has a very beautiful area, a lot of trees and flowers. There is an outdoor fresh water pool. In the garden for children there is a slide and a swing. Breakfasts at the hotel are different coffee, tea, juice, dairy products, buns, marmalade, honey, muesli, sliced ​ ​ sandwiches, fruits, vegetables, etc. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful with a TV, refrigerator and hairdryer. The most favorite place in the room for us is a huge balcony overlooking the pool. But the most important advantage is the friendliness of the owners of this hotel! The hotel is located 300 meters from the port (this is the New Port) and the ferry - a direct road. Walk about 3-4 minutes. Walk about 600-700 m to the nearest beach, 6-8 minutes in time - it depends on your speed. And you have to walk in a straight line. The beach is small but cozy, somewhere 1.5 m pebbles and then sand. You can go further and there will be more beaches. Also, not far from the hotel is the nearest supermarket about 3 minutes walk, small with the ability to buy the necessary groceries. . We liked the quiet, calm hotel, excellent service and food, the room is bright and most importantly there are few tourists on the beach, which is what we wanted.
