Not the first time in Greece. We rested in Halkidiki. On Rhodes. Corfu and now decided to go to Thassos. A friend chose the most economical tour for us. We are not pretentious and therefore we did not need a luxury hotel.
I want to talk about the road. That she passed quite tolerably. The bus had wi-fi. There is a small bar on the ferry, there were few people. The driver gave us sandwiches before boarding the ferry and said that if you don’t eat yourself, feed the seagulls. We laughed! But when we saw their number. They were surprised. We were happy to feed all the bread to the gluttonous birds))) We drank a delicious cappuccino there and ate Greek sweets that we bought on the way!
The hotel turned out to be very modest, but at the same time it has many advantages. The hotel is located right on the seafront. The view at night is simply breathtaking! The hotel staff is friendly, they don't speak Russian, but they understand a lot. The hotel is more like an apartment, as there is no centralized single entrance through the reception. The beach is clean and equipped with sunbeds. The sand is white and golden. We rented a car and drove around the island ourselves.

The rooms in the hotels are small, the furniture is wooden. To tell the truth the hotel is not new at all. But being there, I felt like in the village with my grandmother))
We visited the "marble" beach, it's worth it... This is a very unusual and beautiful place, the cleanest sea) But don't go there without glasses, otherwise bright white marble chips will blind your eyes. We really enjoyed our stay and I think we will definitely be back!
