Let's go to Limenas to move to MARBLE BEACH.

Marble Beach is one of the most beautiful and unusual beaches of the island. The beach is located on the east coast of the island, not far from the marble quarry.

It's not in vain that it bears its name - its surface is completely covered with marble chips instead of the usual sand or pebbles. It looks beautiful: the marble chips are absolutely white, and the beach literally sparkles in the rays of the bright sun. Marble Beach has amenities - a toilet, changing cabins, sunbeds, sun umbrellas and a small cafe with soft drinks and snacks. Entrance to the beach is absolutely free, and to use a sunbed, you just need to buy something at a local bar.

The advantage of this place is its isolation. You can get to it on foot, go from the old port past the archaeological museum and excavations, and go along the crooked street to the highway. On the left there will be a MARBLE BEACH sign. Almost immediately, a small chapel has a spring with a tap, draw water and go. After 0.5-0.8 km there will be a sign that there are 3.5 km left to the beach. Now it is no longer asphalt, but the road is dusty from marble chips. Total from the ferry stop 6-7km.

Another way is to take a sailboat for 10 euros - they will take you and pick you up at 17 hours. Our travelers on the bus in two batches crossed to the Marble Beach by water. We went on foot, losing an hour of time figuring out where to go. But they were in place almost simultaneously with the second group. They were taken out of the beach not at 17:00, but at 14:00 the first group set sail. They came dusty, the cars fumigated us with marble dust.

The first thing that opened before us.

Solid white on the beach and the emerald sea.

Large parking lot, music is not intrusive. The water is clean, but there are no run-in marble pebbles on the beach, or rather, there are, but small ones. This is me to the fact that I would like to be bigger for expropriation. After enjoying the sea and the views, we go along the white road to another beach.

The advantage of this place is its isolation: Marble Beach is a forty-minute walk from the nearest hotel, so it is never crowded.

But this information turned out to be a little unreliable, there were quite a lot of people, but not in such a way that they lay on each other's heads.

The second beach also has parking, some umbrellas, and is quite busy. The water is amazing, but there is garbage, bags floating, grass, leaves. Ships, boats stick here.

I'm going to the quarry. This is something - sawn blocks, mountains of small and large crumbs, a crane, everything around is absolutely white. Pointer to the rock of Panagia. Jeeps rush along the road behind the quarry, enveloping me in white dust. After 30-40 minutes they returned, and then after some time they left the beach. There were a lot of them, about seven. As always, jeeps do not drive alone. It was also possible to get there by jeeps for 45 euros with lunch, a stop at Giola (a natural pool with sea water).

And it's all white under the sunlight. Taking pictures is just not realistic. But it's time to leave. Go for another hour and a half. And again we, dusty, were rescued by water near the chapel. We walked around Limenas for two more hours before leaving.
