My wife and I were in a bungalow room. Bungalow rooms cost 3-4 pieces in one building, rising up the slope from the lake, apartments seem to be the farthest building at the top of the territory. We arrived at half past seven, we were brought to the hotel by Mouzenidis' bus in 35 minutes by 9 o'clock, we were met at the reception, quickly registered and we checked in after 20 minutes of waiting (the room was cleaned). The room had a set of dishes for 4 people, a small bathtub (as in the photo), poorly adjusted taps and a clogged aerator in the tap in the kitchen. No soap, no shampoo, no dishwashing liquid, no dish brushes, no kitchen towels, no salt, sugar, spices. We bought all this in a nearby mini-supermarket, since there are a variety of small and piece household goods. The rooms have mosquito nets on the windows, in some places shabby and torn, but in general everything is OK. the rooms are quite spacious and roomy with the necessary furniture.
in the room there was a TV with 2-3 programs in English and the rest in Greek (a useless unit in our case : ) ), hair dryer, toaster, el. kettle, coffee maker, el. stove - everything worked fine.
As already noted here, before going to bed there was a ritual of hunting for mosquitoes - mosquitoes did not save and during the day these creatures still leaked, maybe during cleaning during the day, it doesn’t matter - they were and interfered : ) In the mornings we woke up with the roll call of roosters, but I still managed to get back to sleep and sleep well. Our bungalow block was closest to the reception on the main road, so the noise (late) in the evening from small transport chasing from time to time, probably those blocks that stood higher probably suffered less from this scourge. We visited the pool and a bar with TV broadcasts in a neighboring hotel (upstairs behind Alykes Park), in the recreation area were only in passing, although it was quite comfortable and cozy there : )

to get to places of food "around the corner" - 5 minutes, but most often we ate in the neighboring tavern Paradise on the left - great food, delicious wine, pleasant service, 1 minute walk and mosquitoes ...

The beach is really close and it is really the best of the entire coast of Alykes-Alykanos. There are no changing cabins, but the issue is resolved by a toilet at the bottom of the coastal taverns. We didn't take the sunbeds even once - we had our own mat and towels. We also went to the beach on the left side about 150 m, there is a narrow strip of large pebbles and a pebble entrance of 2 m, but it is quite possible to find a natural shade near the high shore and sleep with pleasure or just lie in the breeze, as well as sunbathe and swim nude, Fortunately, there are simply no neighbors on the beach nearby closer than 20-30 meters. We went to the beach in Alykanos (150m to the right) - it seemed just a bit boring compared to Alykes and there were often algae in the water near the shore.
The weather was always bathing and sunbathing, the water was warm so as not to just sit on the shore. It rained a couple of times, but it rained for no more than 5 minutes.

We ate at 3-4 places in total, traditionally we prepared breakfast ourselves, during the day we managed on the beach with juice-cocktail-fruit, in the evening we ate in a cafe, usually we took either a dish for two, or something for gastronomic interests. According to the recommendations, we went to the Lemon Tree Garden tavern in Alikanos, for the first time to eat a platter of fish, for the second time we caught a Greek evening with live music, songs, dances. They were more than satisfied with the dish, in the evening - too. back from there we were taken by a free bus from the tavern to the doorstep of the hotel, ask the waiters about it before leaving : )

we got out on an excursion once - to Navajo Bay with swimming at the Blue Caves and Xinia Beach.

The tour was bought at a point opposite the dusk market to the right of the hotel, where the Russian-speaking consultant told everything perfectly about the options, offered a discount on the morning check-in (at 9 am) and controlled the departure herself. By the way, if you decide to fly to Navajo during the season, it’s better to do it at the beginning of the day on the first flight, we arrived there at the beginning of the 11th and were among the first hundred tourists on the beach, managed to climb around and examine everything until the “VIP” arrived there -boat with about 200 tourists and another 3-4 for 60-70, by our departure it was just CLOSE and not overcrowded!

they themselves went 2 times to the capital of the island by regular bus at 10-30 there and 16-30 (20-10) back, the issue price is 1.80 one way each. walk around the city, walk in the port, look at the ferries and yachts, climb the mountain to the castle (we did it on foot along the path for 15 minutes from the beach of Zakynthos) - with a breathtaking view of the whole city and the bay in the aroma of pines and with cold local wine in a cafe : )
We were picked up back and taken to the airport on time and with comfort, they told us in detail about the check-in procedure and baggage check-in, explained all the nuances and questions, for which the host Mouzenidis is another big plus.

If someone has questions - please ask in the comments, I will try to explain everything.

Have a good holiday everyone!
