Last year, with a young man, we decided to go to Greece. It was the first time, but we were satisfied with everything! We rested on the island of Zakynthos at the Argassi Beach Hotel. Beautiful, neat and tidy hotel with a green garden around. Argassi is part of a complex consisting of three different hotels, the other two hotels are located across the road. We had a room on the second floor, a terrace overlooking the garden and a small piece of the sea. The room is spacious and bright. It was convenient that there was one room and a separate kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, as well as a kettle and coffee maker. In addition, the room had a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, hair dryer in the bathroom. Cleaning was done every day, quickly and efficiently. Towels and linen were changed every 3 days. The food at the hotel is excellent. Breakfast is delicious but standard. No frills. Cereals, jams, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, toast and pastries. For dinner, various types of national Greek dishes were served. It was very pleasing. It was possible not to go to taverns. The hotel restaurant served very tasty food. There were many meat dishes, chicken dishes, fish dishes were given several times. Also on the tables were a lot of fresh green salads, just chopped vegetables and fruits. Nobody left hungry. My boyfriend and I rented an ATV and traveled around the island, making stops to eat at local taverns and cafes, to try local food. Of course, we went to see the famous Navajo Bay, Askos Zoo and the most beautiful beach on the island - Gerakas. In general, the island of Zakynthos is rich in beaches, here they are really in abundance. I really wanted to look at the carriage-carriage turtles, but I saw only one, but even then briefly when we took a 3-hour excursion on a yacht. The captain of the yacht explained this by the fact that it was already out of season for them. Sometimes in the evenings we stayed at the hotel, there is a wonderful animation here! We were at a Greek evening, learned to dance sirtaki, danced until we dropped. One evening a Greek singer came. We were satisfied with the rest and the hotel! Relaxed just great! I recommend everyone to visit here!
