Hello!
I’ll make a reservation right away: in terms of rest - it’s unpretentious initially - this is the first time, and secondly - I didn’t go on vacation abroad so often, before the trip to Croatia - therefore - draw conclusions about my assessment.
In a nutshell - the holiday was a success!
We went with a group of friends, from four people - by the first days of September last year - for 14 days.
We flew to Split, from there - an hour by bus to the Makarska Riviera and in particular - to the town - Brela and the hotel - Marina.
The hotel, built back in the "Soviet period", with all the ensuing conclusions, but we must pay tribute to the Croats - we did not feel any discomfort from staying in it: the rooms were decent and the hotel staff worked on good, at least , service level.
The weather just let us down a little: it rained for two days, and the wind was not weak, during the rest...

The air temperature, for all the days of our stay in Croatia, did not exceed 25 degrees. Water, in a very clean and beautiful - the Adriatic Sea - was at that time of the year - about + 20 degrees - no more.
On bad days - we rented a car and drove to: Omiš (a small, cozy town - between Brela and Split), to Split itself, and also visited the Croatian National Park - Plitvice Lakes (very cool - I recommend it to everyone! ) and the most famous and popular Fortified city - Dubrovnik.
We ate at the hotel - quite satisfying, but I won’t say that it was varied: because of the day after day - the buffet was repeated quite regularly... But in general - there was a lot of food and hungry, no one stayed - that's for sure!
The sea, the beach, stunning pine trees - in general, the atmosphere of relaxation is very good and cozy! Now, if only to rest there a little earlier... At least in mid-August... to be warmer, it would be a little, and so - a super vacation - I recommend it!
