Crisis is crisis, but you still need to rest! And the choice again fell on Croatia. But if last year it was Central Dalmatia, now we decided to go to the Dubrovnik region (I wanted to combine it with a visit to Montenegro). We stopped at the Reddison, because. the hotel is absolutely new, stylish and modern - this time, it is located right by the sea - this is two, and we thought there would be few people there, because. not untwisted - it's three. Of course, we knew that there would be some shortcomings in the service, because. The hotel is new but the price was right.
We went together with my husband. We arrived late in the evening, but we were settled quickly.
In general, the impressions of the hotel are positive.
Cons: you can read about them in Top-Hotels, almost everything is true : -)). . .

1)... and what a small and monotonous buffet. Nothing has changed in a week: three types of cereal, milk, yogurt, jamon, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, rice with vegetables, fried mushrooms, fried bacon, two types of sausages, three types of fruits (they are different every day! ) several types of juice, tea, coffee, two types of pastries and several types of honey, nuts and jam. Of course, these are not the Canary Islands with champagne, shrimp and strawberries for breakfast, but the price for the rest is also different. . .
2)... and the fact that the waiters are in no hurry to clean up the dishes and therefore there are few free tables in the air (with a small number of visitors). But there are places in the room!
3)... and the lack of animation (and we are adults and came to relax, lie in the sun and, finally, read a book -)) and not to dance...
4)... and the fact that sun loungers on the beach need to be occupied in the morning . . But who gets up early, well, then you know.
5)... and the fact that in restaurants the food is "not very", and the prices are "very much"
6). . . and the fact that the staff only speaks Croatian and English, right down to the electrician and plumber 8-))) And who doesn't let you learn it, you ask??!!
7) yes, the shops weren’t open yet, but a candy store (confectionery) and a supermarket were open.
Yes, I heard that people had problems with currency exchange (they didn’t have time to change euros into kunas at the airport), but they change at the reception, and a credit card helped in the store.
We went on 4 excursions in 7 days
1) overview of Dubrovnik. It was possible not to take. We were here last year, and there is a lot of information heard on the Internet)
2) To Montenegro - not bad (with lunch). It is also beautiful there, but I will not go there to rest. Budva is not so well-groomed, the sea is generally dirty - cigarette butts, grass, fu are floating... In the locker room on the beach, they do everything except changing clothes... The music yells (during the day) so that you can not hear the interlocutor.
3) boat trip Dolores - class. We were taken to beautiful places where there are grottoes and you can swim. Full day excursion with lunch (in a cafe on the beach). Drinks, wine, delicious Croatian puff pastries with cheese and meat were served on the boat.
4) To the island of Korcula - the birthplace of Marco Polo. Island-postcard. . . On the way - oyster tasting, on the way back - wine tasting.
We had a good rest, then, apparently, there will be Istria...
