I would like to share my impressions of the seven days I spent (24.07. 2010-31.07. 2010) in the Dolmatia region, Makarska, Croatia. There were four of us: me, my boyfriend and his parents. The tour found in the agency ave. com. ua (1/5 Starokievskaya str. , metropolitannichesky institute), the travel agency is located next door, the director himself is Mr. Blazh Mijatovic, a Croatian by origin, so who better than him will tell native places. He is laconic, knows how to listen and will give a couple of options that will hit the spot. I was recommended two hotels to choose from Horizont and Meteor. I chose the Meteor hotel, although I heard very good reviews about Horizont already in Croatia. Our hotel is located in Makarsa, a small European town, where it is pleasant to walk along the old streets, adjacent rocky mountains, coolness, even if it is more than 30 degrees. the feeling is no more than 25 because the city is very green, with a persistent coniferous smell, many picturesque coves. The hotel itself is not located in the very center of the city, so it is relatively noisy, although the windows had to be closed at night. I liked the hotel, without any frills, but everything you need was in the rooms (safe, refrigerator, conder, balcony), the convenient location of the beach is a few steps from the hotel, although the beaches are all municipal small-pebble, I advise you to buy slippers for swimming in order not to spoil your vacation since there are sea urchins or swim with flippers. If you walk a little further along the coast - a rocky beach where you can dive, although the water world is not very diverse, which is surprising for the whole vacation, we did not see jellyfish. The sea was cool, but it's even high. Sun loungers on the beach are paid, but you can easily do without them by taking with you or buying an air mattress there, there is no point in umbrellas. you are in the shade under the pines.
Visa: not needed during the season
Meals: breakfast + dinner buffet. Very tasty and varied menu.

Breakfast - sliced several types of cheeses and sausages, dairy products, fried bacon, a lot of vegetables, fruits, sweet coffee, tea, juice....
Dinner: several types of meat, grilled vegetables, seafood, salads, several types of soups, a lot of vegetables, fruits, sweets, ice cream.
We got to the hotel for a dinner of Dolmatian cuisine, overeating: a sea of u200bu200bfish, salads with seeds, mussels in a very tasty sauce, I write and choke on my own saliva
Drinks for dinner are paid.
The food is excellent, my boyfriend and his daddy who love to eat were very pleased.
As for restaurants on the coast: the prices in restaurants are approximately the same, the portions are large. Choose where it is more pleasant. Everywhere is delicious, I highly recommend seafood soups, lamb meat (Lamp). Dinner, without limiting yourself, cost up to $ 100 for four. Although if you eat only in a hotel without lunch, it is also enough.
Excursions: for seven days I was only on the Plititvice Lakes - a paradise on earth, this is a huge park with many waterfalls, lakes in which fish are teeming, our fisherman should definitely not be allowed here))) the color of the water is not exaggerating the turquoise color. There was a wild desire to jump into the water, and indeed to build a hut and live in it. The entire coast is paved with wooden scaffolding, paths for tourists. It’s worth the ride, it’s worth it, despite the long road of 3.5 hours, although it didn’t seem tiring to us, about 20-25 minutes along a winding road, and the rest of the time along the autobahn, professional drivers drive carefully and correctly.
I am very grateful to the tour operator!
