Amazing apartments! ! ! ! Ours were on the second floor in the house, which is located across the street from Villa Nizhich itself. The room is very comfortable: everything is white, clean, new, fully equipped kitchen with burning appliances, a large balcony with a wonderful view of the sea, sliding windows for the entire width of the room! in general, it felt like we were the first to live in this room! after each cleaning of the room, various pleasant goodies awaited us, either juice in the refrigerator, or sooo delicious Croatian cookies from the pastry shop! The owner is friendly, gave us souvenirs as parting. The villa has its own parking, which is important, because in Makarska it is a problem to park a car, but a tow truck arrives instantly!!! ! : )
We didn’t cook at all in the apartments, we bought yogurt, cheese and prosciutto for breakfast in a nearby supermarket, had lunch and dinner in cafes. I want to dispel the myth that food prices are crazy in Croatia! ! !
They are absolutely appropriate and normal! Let's say a portion of soup costs 15 kunas (that's 23 UAH), a huge plate of stuffed squid with french fries and vegetables, which was hard for me to master 70 kunas (105 UAH). On average, dinner cost us 25-30 euros for two. Lunches are cheaper. Prices are not more expensive than in Montenegro. All restaurants have a menu, so you can compare prices and choose according to your pocket. We often dined near the villa in the cafe Don Antonio (on the way to Tommy's Surmarket). But on the embankment I liked a wonderful restaurant. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name. It is located next to the souvenir rows, at the beginning of the city beach. It can be recognized by its owner, a colorfully dressed smiling Croat.

In Makarska, we have been looking for a disco for a long time, but we did not find one! ))) Rest here is calm, family...In general, couples in love, elderly people and families with children relax here more!
The exchange rate is slightly different, we found the most profitable for us.
There is an exchanger on the concrete embankment, right on the corner of the house, behind the house there is immediately a passage to the old city. In general, I understand that I could not help you much, but you are not too lazy, spend 20-30 minutes and compare exchange rates. In this exchanger for a hundred euros they gave 15 kunas more.
Our host was the Panoramic tour operator, we did not order excursions from them, since they are much more expensive than on the embankment. From excursions we went to the islands (Brac, Hvar). They chose a small ship (the Leader is called), in no case sail on the Jardan (a trough with a trough; in the evening, moored to the shore, it works as a restaurant, went there once on your own to have dinner, the impressions are the most disgusting). During the walk we were given coffee and lunch (wine, water, fish). In general, it was very cool. We visited 2 cities on different islands, swam for 3 hours on the famous Golden Horn beach. The cost is 25 euros per person.
The next day we went rafting, it costs the same. Sea of positive emotions! ! ! Nature, mountains, river....Beauty! ! ! Go, you won't regret it! ! ! For 10 euros they recorded a CD with our photos.
For the next three days, we rented a car, because we didn’t really want to become attached to excursions. This car is expensive. There is one place on the embankment where the cheapest prices for cars, but the cars were all occupied for a week in advance. We took a Renault Twingo - 52 euros per day, brand new. To protect ourselves, we decided to take out all kinds of insurance, another + 17 euros per day. Total came out 69 euros per day. Her consumption is small, in three days we ran into 30 euros.

On the first day we went to Split (we had our own navigator, very convenient !! ! but you can rent it on the spot). The route was planned in advance. After Split, we went towards Trogir, but first we swam in the sea on the island of Ciovo, which is near Trogir.
After the heat subsided, we went for a walk along the ancient streets of Croatian Venice. The next day, our path lay in the direction of Dubrovnik. The road there is long, about 3 hours drive, so I advise you to leave early and do not forget to take your passports with you, because you will be driving through the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Dubrovnik, a little miscalculated with parking. We thought that the parking time should be paid after the fact. After walking around the city, we paid for our parking at the parking machine, we approach the car, and a fine of 170 kunas awaits us! ! In general, as it turned out, it was necessary to plan your parking time, pay for it and put a check under the windshield of the car in advance. Keep this in mind!!! ! !
Since we arrived in Dubrovnik in the very sun, we decided to wait out the heat on the beach. To do this, we sailed to Lokrum island, boats leave there from the embankment every half hour. And we did not lose!! ! ! !
A stunning island surrounded by pine trees, where peacocks walk everywhere!!! ! !
We devoted the last day only to the sea ...When we were driving to Split, we spotted one beach, not far from Makarska, right after the tunnel, and in the morning we went there, left the car on the side of the road and went down to the beach, and in the second half we went to explore the beaches towards Dubrovnik! Of all the places where we swam, the most liked on the island of Lokrum near Dubrovnik! !
The sea...How beautiful it is in Croatia!!! ! ! ! Don't describe! ! ! The water is pure and clear! ! !
In general, we have only the best impressions about Croatia! ! ! An extraordinary country with magnificent beaches, ancient cities and good-natured people! Would love to go back there again! ! ! And again in the same villa!
