I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the sea and a quiet location (Podgora). In July 2017, there was a fire in Podgora: the hotel is almost surrounded by burnt pines, burnt palms. But, as it turned out, the main trouble of the hotel is its owner. Meeting - with a glass of wine, smiles. . . After a couple of minutes, it turned out that the proposed room did not match the booked one. The owner became nervous, he began to shout at us in the presence of vacationers, hotel staff! Complete transformation of a person within 2-3 minutes. To be honest, we were shown another room - on the 1st floor, overlooking an abandoned courtyard and windows resting on the ground (although the sea view room has been booked since February! ) My question is what to do? I was given a short and nervous answer by the hotel owner: "If you don't like the room, go back to the bus!! " Comments are superfluous. Only with the help of a travel agency did they find the "correct" number. The food is greasy, salty and monotonous. The room is tiny. Wifi is weak. The rest of the staff is polite. The owner didn't even bother to apologize. By the way, on the day of departure, he again began to shout at me: he ended up at the reception, and I was forced to turn to him with a question. But to my misfortune, at that moment he was counting the money (this is important for him! ): again a cry, a flushed face. . The hotel staff who watched this lowered their eyes in shame. This hotel owner is simply a disgrace to his hotel, and to the whole of Croatia. And it's not about temperament! You need to be able to control yourself if you have to communicate with people. My conclusion, if you want problems with a pre-booked room, a public insult, tasteless food (the owner obviously saves on food quality and a good cook), then you should go to this hotel.
