We rested in LAGUNA GALIJOT VILLA 4 * at the end of June. The first thing I want to note is the huge pine trees throughout the territory. The hotel occupies a whole peninsula, along the coast there are many equipped beaches with entry into the sea. Basically platforms, on both sides of the peninsula there are two small-pebble beaches with a convenient entry for children. Renting a sun lounger for the whole day costs 20 kunas (the exchange rate at the end of June was 5.3 to the dollar; 7.6 to the euro). I didn’t see umbrellas, those who want to lie in the shade can always find a place in the shade of pines. There are blue flags along the coast, I think there are four on the beaches of the hotel, which means the beaches are very clean. The territory of the hotel is very beautiful and well-groomed. Throughout the hotel there are one-story apartments with small terraces, in the center there is a two-story hotel building, where the reception and the main restaurant are located. Near the A la Carte restaurant with two terraces. Nutrition is a different story.
I like to stay in hotels where there is only breakfast, but it so happened that we bought a breakfast/dinner package and did not regret it at all. The variety of dishes is not very large, but there is always something to choose from and very tasty food. Every time I wanted to say . . well, why don't I have two stomachs. For children, there are always cereals (buckwheat, oatmeal), cereals, stew, boiled meat. There are a lot of fruits for dinner, in the morning there were mostly only watermelons, melons, pineapples, grapes and cherries. At dinner, drinks are paid, ice cream is free. There are always veal, chicken and fish dishes. The service is unobtrusive, there were never queues, there was always clean dishes (those who rested in the peak season in Turkey know what I'm talking about). There is another A la Carte restaurant on site right next to the beach, it is a little simpler and cheaper than near the reception, more snacks. There are also 2 restaurants at the exit of the hotel, i. e.
if you come to LAGUNA GALIJOT VILLA 4* only with Breakfast, there is always a place to eat. In general, the hotel is very quiet, clean and comfortable. You pass by the apartments and you understand that everything is full, but people are somehow not visible. A separate story about seagulls and squirrels. The loudest in the hotel were seagulls, which begged the residents for at least some goodies. There was an impression that they broke the hotel into sectors and begged from the guests. Seagulls more impudently try to pull off everything that lies unattended and everything happens very “neatly” : ), the children were delighted. Don't leave anything to eat on the balcony. Every day at 7 in the morning, one of the representatives of this family woke us up, outraged that she had not yet been fed. For squirrels, we bought peanuts in Poreč , it was a separate pleasure to feed the squirrels and watch the competition between squirrels and seagulls : ).

We were seated very quickly. There were 3 room options to choose from.
We chose a room with a side sea view (20 meters from the building), but on the second floor. Everything is very clean, cleaned very well. Somewhere on the third day, going into the room, I saw a note with the word HVALA, which means thank you in Russian, it was very nice, although the tip was the same as in other hotels in Europe. Plumbing is excellent, windows, air conditioning everything worked.
For sports lovers, the hotel has tennis courts, table tennis tables, volleyball, football, sports grounds with fitness equipment. For children there is a kids club, there is a playground.

Be sure to visit the city of Poreč , from the hotel to Poreč about 2.5 km. You can go, take a special eco-train (travel 20 kunas for an adult, 10 kunas for a child) or sail on a boat (runs every half an hour). The schedule is at the reception. The hotel is located in the lagoon (Plava Laguna), a boat from Porec will bring you directly to the lagoon embankment.
In general, the Poreč region is very picturesque and ecologically clean. According to Marta, our representative at the TUI hotel, Croatia is the only country in the world where you can drink tap water. Poreč has a huge number of paths for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Each hotel, including the Galijot Hotel, has bike rentals. The longer you take the bike, the cheaper it is. Maximum cost per adult 1 hour 30 kunas. We left to ride outside the city of Porec along the coast, saw a rental where the price was 50 kunas for the whole day. The rental office gives out a map of cycling routes, before I went I looked at the routes here, this site has a lot of useful information about Poreč . A paved path with beautiful views leads to Poreč along the coast; it is not at all difficult to walk to the city on foot.

In the old part of the city is the Euphrasian Basilica, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List (must visit). In the town there is a marina, a huge number of restaurants, shops, souvenir layouts. And just the Mediterranean style of the city is incredibly inspiring with its cobbled narrow streets, and the embankment offers a magnificent view of the island. Saint Nicholas.
During the week we walked a lot, rented a car (40 euros per day), in one day we walked to the city of Vrsar (we walked from 10 am to 7 pm : )), I went to Venice. A sea of impressions! LAGUNA GALIJOT VILLA 4* is the best hotel on the coast and I plan to become its regular customer.
