Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna****
Hello. The hotel is good, I will try to be brief about everything. I traveled with a 5 year old child. PAKS tour operator, S7 airline, regular flight. There are no complaints about Pax, everything is clear and on time, they brought it and took it away. We bought excursions from the guide Marina, everyone is always in touch via Wi-Fi. The airline delayed the return flight for 4 hours, they gave water and salads at the airport.
Check-in and check-out: everything went in a couple of minutes, we arrived at the hotel on Friday, August 24, at about 5 pm. According to the voucher - a room with a balcony. The room turned out to be with a blind balcony almost my height, behind the wall is the sea, but I could see it in a jump, under the balcony there is a roof. We went for 2 weeks, it did not suit me, I decided to change. They offered a side view (of the sea and the church on the hill) - free of charge, then a room clearly in the middle of the sea on the 5th floor, but for a fee. I chose the second expensive option and it was worth it. Check-out at this hotel is before 10 am. At 9:30 a receptionist came and said that we could stay in the room until the car arrived. We were picked up at 13-30, the room was extended for 3.5 hours for free. Perhaps because of the child, perhaps because the animators "forgot" about the child's birthday and they apologized so much, while bringing gifts from the hotel - a picture, caps, T-shirts and sets with oil and lavender bags, or maybe because we are normal people, smiling and not bothering them? .

Reception: everyone spoke Russian, any shift, they responded instantly to any request - ordering lunch boxes, a late dinner, a safe blocked by a child, a recessed sink plug, a demagnetized room key - that's probably all they had to worry about. All problems were eliminated in a couple of minutes, all the guys are smiling and responsive.
Hotel: there is no territory of its own, only the area in front of the pool, where there is a bar, a relaxation area with ottomans, wicker chairs and tables, a small playground. 2 pools of different levels, there is a small one for children, there are no slides, sometimes they turn on a jacuzzi in the pool in the form of a waterfall. There are a lot of places around the pool, there was enough for everyone, although the hotel was 100% full (the main contingent is Germans, 50% pensioners - they have a state program for holidays in Croatia; Russians about 5% seemed to me so) and in the future the change of room was already for others problematic. It is clean and beautiful near the pool, the sun beds are good, towels can be taken / changed at any time the pool is open, in my opinion, until 19 o'clock, then cleaning was included. We were at the pool only once, but there are people who relax only by the pool, they don’t go to the sea. Towels and in-room safe are free. The other side overlooks the hills with side views, but there is no territory there. There is a kids club. It works in the high season, until mid-September from 10 to 12 and from 16 to 18, also at 20-30 children's disco by the pool. At that time we were at sea or on excursions, we were in the club 1 time when it was raining. Animators speak German / English, no Russian, but international games, it is not necessary to understand, a game room with many elements, after dinner some entertainment for children by the pool, we saw it once. For adults, almost every day in the hotel lobby or on the terrace there is live music after 9 pm, on Fridays there is a rock and roll program with dancing. All information about the events is on the hotel stand, the animators do not invite anyone, they only work with children during the day, they are no longer in the hotel. Another entertainment option is mini football. On the 1st floor there is a hairdresser, working on a strange schedule, when everyone is on the beach and a shop with drinks / chips / cigarettes, etc. , also works only during the day, everything is closed in the evening. All public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy, garbage is removed instantly, stairs and elevators shine.
Room: cleaning was daily, the quality was 4, the ashtray glasses were washed by myself, but in principle they cleaned everything up after themselves. They always vacuumed, the beds were always clean and made, towels were changed every day, although there was no such need. Personal belongings are not moved from their place, valuables were first kept in a safe, and then tablets and some small things were simply left in the room, no one touched anything. I did not leave a tip for the cleaning lady, since the ticket was already expensive + additional payment for changing the room. The cleaning lady never bothered, she came when we were already leaving after breakfast. Light / water - always without interruption. The rooms are small, 3 people - maximum, for a child in some rooms there is a sliding chair, it occupies all the free space. Perhaps there are rooms for 4, I did not see. It was spacious in our room, a large closet, a hallway with a stand for beach utensils, a huge balcony with a table and two chairs, a large bath / toilet, bright and clean, from the toilet there was a window overlooking the sea? . The mini-bar was completely filled, it is paid, I had to put everything out of there in order to put my products in the refrigerator - baby milk, drinks, etc.
Food: more than excellent for me. For breakfast, a large selection of everything - vegetables, cheeses, sausages, cereals, all kinds of bread spreads, a lot of pastries, amazing croissants, fruits, eggs, fried bacon, pancakes, etc. Here's a great selection for me. Well, what they wrote a lot about - champagne, drink as much as you want until the restaurant is closed? For dinner, there were seafood several times - mussels, squids, octopuses, natural, sometimes in salads, several types of fish every day, 5-6 types of meat all the time, I am silent about side dishes, vegetables, pastries and a huge amount of fruit. Fruits are always watermelons, melons, several kinds of peaches, apples, bananas, pears, plums. Dinner without drinks. Offered there are roads, for example, beer 0.5 - 35 kunas (1 kuna 10 rubles), wine 100 gr - 19 kunas. And non-alcoholic drinks are also exorbitantly priced, but nevertheless, almost everyone drinks, I saw, they bring some with them, I don’t know how legal it is? Sometimes they took food from the restaurant with them, before excursions or to the beach, of course, secretly, but if anyone saw it, they didn’t say anything. Thanks to the chefs, there are no complaints about the food at all.

Beach: there is no beach near the hotel, everyone goes to the left, there are many beaches. Guests of this hotel are offered free sunbeds on the beach of the Parentium Hotel (there was also a meeting with the guide), there are huge beaches, mostly slabs, but there are also small lagoons with small pebbles for children. We chose the beach near Vila Romana, although the first time we went much further to the sandy one, where there is a large stage, the water and entrances are worse there. We, accordingly, did not take sunbeds, since this is no longer the Parentium, but we did fine without them with hotel towels. There are a lot of points along the beaches with offers of free sunbeds / umbrellas, but there are nuances - for the whole day, or hourly payment, or complex offers, so I can’t say for prices, I saw them very different from 30 to 100 kunas. For lunch along the beaches a lot of cafes for every taste, a lot of pizza and seafood, everything is not cheap. My lunch with a plate of mussels, beer, beef soup and juice for a child at Vila Romana cost about 150 kunas. There are places like fast food, of course, it's cheaper there. Also near our beach there was a tent with ice cream and drinks: ice cream 1 ball 8 kunas, beer on the beach 0.5 Ozhuiskoe 18 kunas. In the minimarket shop on the promenade 14 kunas. (For comparison, in Porec in Spar it costs 7-8 kunas). There is nothing cheap in this place of the Green Lagoon, as it is isolated. There are few grocery stores and everything is very expensive there. We have already written about the blue flags of UNESCO, the purest water of the Adriatic, I completely agree.
Weather: we rested from August 24 to September 7, it rained 2-3 times, while it was warm, they were short-lived, in the afternoon it was already possible to go to the beach. The sea was almost always smooth, during the rains it didn’t even storm, we were so lucky with the weather during this period. All the rest of the time, the gentle sun, creams were smeared a couple of times.
Poreč : a beautiful town, there are many ways to get there from the Green Lagoon. On foot - I recommend at least once, very beautiful, 4 km; train - do not pass by, 20 kunas, 15 minutes with stops; boat from Vila Romana and another place along the beach; a regular bus from the Plava circle (also you won’t pass by, where the turn to Parentium is). In Poreč it is better when it is not hot. But in the evening, when it's dark, I don't recommend it, you should see it all during the day. We have been 3 times, every time with pleasure. Would you like to stock up on groceries or beer? pop arrival in Poreč Spar right next door.
Promenade: everything to the left of the hotel and to the end along the coast - there is a mini market, souvenir shops, cafes with live music, clubs, even movies were shown and there was a rock concert. You need to follow the schedule of evening events, usually there are posters everywhere, everything starts around 9 pm. You can also go to the right, walk in the pines and quietly reach Poreč . Along the way there are benches and hammocks everywhere and picturesque views. For a child, all fares, etc. 50%. There are exchangers on the promenade, but they work, it seems, from 8 am to 2 or 4 pm. Basically, payment is everywhere in kunas in official places - shops, etc. , and in the rest they are converted into euros, you can pay euros for food, for example, in a restaurant, and ask for change in kunami. The course is the same everywhere plus or minus 2 kopecks.

Excursions: we took 3 things from PAX: Plitvice Lakes (from 7 am to 11 pm), a VIP trip on a ship (VIP because there were only 30 people on the ship, if you sail cheaply and in the total mass, you will stand and eat parties, we did not regret it - food, water, a stop in Rovinj and some other beautiful city, the beach - for the whole day from 10 am to 5 pm), Venice - from 6 am to 9 pm on the ship from Poreč . All 3 excursions 1 adult 1 child cost 306 euros, I won’t say how much which one. For the first two additional expenses, apart from food and water, souvenirs are not required, and in Venice you will still have to fork out at the rate of 100 euros per nose if you want to see everything according to the guide program, but you can just walk on your own and eat a piece of pizza. We spent part of the money and did not regret it.
I hope I haven't missed anything. If someone has specific questions about the hotel, prices, etc. - write, I will answer everything. tanusa@mail. ru
