Didn't live up to expectations...

Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
We stayed at the end of July 2010. Let's just say that the first impression was not very good. It all started with a settlement. In Amarin, you can stay in a room only from 15:00 (according to international standards - from 13:00! ). I note that this is not a hotel, but "Appartments & Camping", a tourist settlement, in other words, our, almost "soviet" camp site. We lived in a 2 * house on the 2nd floor. The room has 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, a table and a mini-fridge + bathroom. No window, with a door that can be easily opened with a nail file. But among coniferous trees, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Most of the territory is reserved for camping. Service and animation. Service - for 10 days the room was never properly cleaned, the bed was not changed, there was a lot of cobwebs. And the animation is in German, since most of the vacationers are Germans, Austrians and Dutch. So, in the evenings I had to look for entertainment myself. The beach is relatively large (compared to the neighboring Valdaliso), the sea is mostly clean. But go to sea without specials. shoes are simply impossible - huge stones at the bottom, moreover, are slippery. A couple of people walked with bandaged legs and plastered hands. So be careful. The food has already been mentioned, the only thing I want to add is that dinners are delicious, unlike breakfasts. Lots of fish (different every day), rice with octopus, rice with mussels, meat, salads, etc. The chefs are Italians. Location. 15 minutes from Rovinj by bus or 7 minutes by boat (taxi boat) directly from the pier in the territory of Amarin. An extremely beautiful city, which until recently belonged to Italy, with narrow stone streets, houses drowning in the water (almost Venice! ). In general, the beauty of the city crossed out all the negative impressions of the hotel. In general, rest is always good! But I would recommend a higher class hotel.
