We lived in Meden in apartments - it's pretty decent there. Small 2-storey houses, with the entrance to the 1st floor from the side of the coast, to the 2nd - from the side of the top (road). Therefore, we did not intersect with neighbors at all. Our room consisted of a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen-living room. The furniture and everything else is old but in good condition. There are a lot of trees around and it's very cozy. The breakfasts are average and the dinners are great! every day at breakfast we chose 1 of 4 dishes in advance, the portions were large, and everything was very tasty. There is a supermarket on the territory, there are a lot of cafes around.
And my colleague, a couple of weeks after me, lived in Meden in the hotel itself (high-rise), was unhappy with the room and the food.
The beach is big but there are a lot of people. No better than in the Crimea. Beach entertainment is full.
We went on excursions: Plitvice Lakes, Krka, Sibenik. Jeep safari and diving. I really liked the jeep safari - very beautiful views, and then a super lunch in a mountain village.
