We decided to celebrate the first year of our son in Croatia. We have long wanted to visit the Adriatic. Finally, we decided on a sausage rest.
Bought tickets through the AVE-tour. Croatia, Vodice (Middle Dalmatia), Olympia 4 * hotel, 2 weeks, air, transfer, insurance, three meals a day (almost 2000 euros), we took 450 euros with us. UIA flew there, terrible flight attendants and an old plane, back - an excellent crew, I really liked it.
Until June 22, there were few people on the beach and in the hotel. And then the season began, there was a sea of people, insanely many. And everyone is friendly, they didn’t fight for places on the beach, and, in general, you could leave things on the beach and leave for several hours, no one touches them.

Money was changed at the airport, in Split. The course turned out to be higher than in the town of Vodice. In Split 1E = 7.28 kunas, in Vodice 1E = 7.18-7.20, and in the hotel and some exchange offices they take a commission of 1.5%. The IBSI host provided us with an individual transfer, because no one else went to this hotel from this company (although there were several families flying with us in the hotel itself). Arrived in the evening at 20:30, had time for dinner. The food is excellent and varied, there are always several types of fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, ice cream in general, everything (buffet). True, at lunch and dinner, drinks are paid. By the way, there is a supermarket next to the hotel, to the left of the main entrance, everything is there, and baby food, and air mattresses, and wine, only we did not find scotch tape there  . If you buy beer in glass bottles, you pay an additional 2.5 kunas, but if you rent beer bottles, you do not pay 2.50 for each bottle. Beer costs 6-9 kunas. Wines from 15 kunas, but we took from 30 kunas Babich, for example, in my opinion tasty, I also liked Postup, but it is from 120 kunas.
Hotel: free Internet (!!! ), rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed too. I don’t even know bed linen, tk. the little one either smeared the bed with chocolate, then broke his lip, or didn’t have time to put on a diaper - they changed us every other day. The room has a TV with a bunch of channels, incl. RTR-planet, safe, telephone (for international calls, dial 000 and then the number with the code), mini-bar, air conditioning - automatically turns on when the balcony is closed, on the balcony there is a table and two chairs. Breakfast from 7 to 10 am, lunch - 12-14, dinner 18-21. Almost every day live music on the terrace. Doesn't interfere with sleep. And the guys in the photo sing very cool, one of them worked at the Croatian embassy in Kyiv in 93-95. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, a children's pool with a slide and an adult up to 1.5 m. The beach is 100 m from the hotel, sunbeds are paid, but I don't know exactly how much. We bought foam mattresses from them at the market for 70 and 90 kunas and lay on them.
The beach is not a pebble, but a small crushed stone, an excellent foot massage (there is in the photo). It is advisable to enter the sea in special shoes, because. there are a lot of sea urchins in the sea (there is also a photo).
The hotel has a mini club for children from 4 years old. There is a slide, horizontal bars and swings. For adults: ping-pong (my husband made Germans and Croats, defending the honor of Ukraine), mini-golf, bingo, boccia. Water aerobics in the pool in the first half of the day.
Exchanges are only in the city center, which is 10 minutes from the hotel, and 7 minutes along the coast. There are many restaurants in the center. Rico is one of the expensive ones, Arausa is cheaper. In comparison, a portion of shkampi (oysters) in the first is 200 kn, in the second - 120 kn.

We went on an excursion to the national park Krka. We went by boat, it took 2.5-3 hours one way, in the park itself 3-3.5 hours. plus we had lunch there. We left at 9 am and arrived at the hotel at 5 pm. The cost per person is 290 kunas. You can swim in the waterfalls in the park. If I remember anything else, I'll be sure to post it. Rest VERY liked. I sincerely envy those who go there.
