We rested in this hotel from September 8 to September 15 as a family of 2 adults and two children 4 and 11 years old. We can say that we got to this hotel by accident, as we chose another one, but getting there was problematic, since in less than 1.5 months most of the hotels we were interested in were already in the foot and we received only one refusal, we had to choose the first free hotel that came across . There are almost no reviews of the hotel in Russian, only in a foreign language, and even then most are in French, so I will try to describe this hotel in more detail. We liked the rest in this hotel, I want to say right away that we compared it with other hotels of those countries in which we visited. The hotel itself is not new, but not shabby, one might say clean, the rooms are normal. It is located at the foot of the mountain and therefore the buildings are arranged as if in steps, so you have to go up and down the stairs a lot, but it’s not so tiring as some wrote. Air conditioners were only in the rooms of the main building, but it was in an open area, and not in the shade of trees, like most of the rooms and like our building, so we didn’t need air conditioning, during the day the balcony was always open, and at night we even closed, because it was cool. During the day it was always hot outside, in the evening it was cool, but not cold, just the sea is nearby, and you can put on a light blouse. The hotel, so to speak, stands on the outskirts, away from the bustle of the city, so there are no shops here, we found only one small one in the village. There was another small shop at the hotel, where you could buy everything you need even for kunas, even for euros at normal prices. The hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis, the service is absolutely unobtrusive. The food is good, normal food, similar to homemade. Breakfasts, as elsewhere abroad, but lunch and dinner were distinguished by an abundance of dishes, 3-4 types of meat dishes, more often two types of fish, various vegetable dishes, pasta, rice, potatoes, soup, there was always something to choose from and it was difficult to stay hungry, rarely there were queues. The pastry is not good, one or two types, like apple pie or something like that, ice cream for lunch and dinner in the refrigerator, a lot of different fruits, both fresh and canned. Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, you pour yourself from the machine, and if you drink alcohol, then from bottles using a special dispenser, and this is at least in a restaurant, even in a bar near the pool. In the bar near the pool, in addition to drinks, shortbread cookies were given at 16h. The pool at the hotel is small and not deep with sea water, there is a section for children. Sun loungers near the pool, of course, it was problematic to find, as elsewhere. There is animation at the hotel, but only in English and French, because there are almost no Russian-speaking tourists, communication at the hotel is also in a foreign language, although it’s not really necessary to communicate here. The French are the majority of holidaymakers here, so the evening entertainment program is focused more on them, even ads were more often written in French, and we could not always understand what and where would happen. Nevertheless, we visited these entertainment events for foreigners a couple of times and decided not to go there anymore, terribly boring and it's not about the language. In the afternoon, there were also all sorts of programs for vacationers such as water polo or aqua aerobics, the kids club was closed, it was probably out of season. The sea here is magnificent, clear water, though a bit cold for me, but you get used to it, and then you don’t want to climb out. In the morning, few people swam, it was not too hot, the weather could only be judged after 9 in the morning whether it would be a day or not, and after 11 it was time for swimming and sunbathing, it was hot, but there was no scorching sun. The beach is pebbly, but the pebbles are not sharp as it seems in the photo, you can safely lie on a straw or a towel, but in the sea it is advisable to swim in slippers, you can buy them at the hotel, but without slippers it is problematic to enter, and the pebbles in the sea are not small, there are big stones and even sea urchins further from the shore, where you can no longer reach the bottom with your feet. There are always few people on the beach, more near the pool, foreigners prefer to lie on sun loungers there, rather than swim in the sea, although a sun lounger can also be rented by the sea. We took two excursions from our tour operator, we liked them, we were able to get to know the country better, admire its nature. We bought all the souvenirs and all sorts of things on excursions, since there is little in the hotel. We liked the country and the people, as well as the hotel, if anyone cares that it is located far from other hotels, far from the airport, there are no Russian television channels in the room, there is no room for storing things, as well as the lack of a shower room for those leaving, but it is located in a beautiful place, it offers a wonderful view of the district and other islands. But all of the above, in our opinion, are trifles that did not spoil our vacation and we must not forget that this is still a three-star hotel, and all hotels of different star ratings have their drawbacks. Well, that's all, I hope my review did not tire you, and maybe it will help someone decide on the choice of hotel.
