When choosing a hotel at the end of April in Heviz, we were guided by the proximity to the lake; the presence of a large swimming pool; medical base; booking an apartment for 2 adults, but with the possibility of sharing and paying on the spot of the 3rd adult if necessary. The room is spacious. There is no air conditioner. Hairdryer, kettle provided upon check-in, free of charge. When leaving, they returned it to the reception.
The room has 2 one-and-a-half beds pushed together, in another room there is a sofa. Furniture (2 wardrobes, 2 tables, a coffee table, a chair and 2 armchairs) is old. The cabinet doors are creaky. There is a small refrigerator. Floor dryer. Bathroom combined. We had a bath. In 2-bed rooms, apparently, showers.
The territory of the hotel is large and green. Fenced off from the city. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds! In good weather you can sunbathe on the sunbeds.
Meals at the hotel cafe. Breakfast buffet (no special frills and variety. But no one left hungry) Lunch and dinner on a customized menu. This is beyond praise!! ! The choice of dishes is large. For 11 days we did not repeat even once. I liked everything, except "pelmeni with dill and cottage cheese"))) These are not dumplings))) We had HB. Lunch or dinner could be varied.
In some restaurants in Heviz and Budapest, the food is worse than in a sanatorium. Chef special thanks! Service in the cafe is fast and unobtrusive.
The hotel has a good medical base. This is a former military sanatorium. The price of the procedures is cheaper than in other places. The massage is only very short in time, only 20 minutes. But they do well. Or are we just that lucky? All three had male masseurs. Some people bought massages in the city. They say they are very happy. We don't know, haven't tried it

I really liked the individual exercise therapy! It has nothing to do with our physical education. Something very special! I recommend it to those who have doubts!
Nice swimming pool 25m. Thermal nearby. There is a sauna. Separately for men and women. This is all included in the price. Infrared for a fee. Didn't go. From the pool there is access to the territory.
Did not like the opening hours of the pools: from 06:30 to 17:30. At this time I want to go to the lake. It would be nice to extend the work until 20:00-21:00. And, of course, weekends and holidays (((No treatment is carried out at this time.
Negative point - housekeeping. We are unpretentious tourists. Swans made of towels have never seduced us. But for all the days the bed linen and bathrobes were never changed. Towels were changed once. Garbage was taken out 4 times. The floor was wiped with a damp cloth once.
