Vienna - Baden-Sharvar - Lake Heviz, SPA tour
There are so many beautiful and interesting reviews about Vienna that by writing my platitudes, I can scare the reader away from the story of the thermal lake Heviz, from sketches about hotels in Hungary, and they can be very useful. Since, one might say, from the heat - heat!
Vienna is beautiful, Vienna is expensive, Vienna is self-sufficient. She condescendingly allows us to touch her delightful baroque, succumb to the charm of modernity, or reflect on the gothic time. It turned out some good shots taken during the "mode" - when the lights are already on, and the sky is still bright. But everything is on the run.
Baden is worthy of a long detailed description and a lot of reviews on the Internet are also easy to find. We lived in the Herzoghof 4* hotel, right opposite the famous Baden casino, where, in addition to playing, you can enjoy classical music concerts, have a good dinner or go to a ball.
Beethoven's house could be seen from the hotel window in the distance, the famous Ondine - Mercedes was right in front of my eyes. The same marble mermaid Undine, for whom Adriana Manuela Ramona Jellinek, nicknamed Mercedes, posed for at the beginning of the century. Her father was a successful businessman and not the last person in the automotive market of that time. Around the corner to the right of the hotel, we met birch trees planted by Russian soldiers, then the City Temple, for which Mozart wrote Ave Verum, as the sign at the entrance says. Further on was the center of Baden, with the invariable monument to the Holy Trinity. They ran past the theater, photographed the coat of arms of Baden, froze at the house where Beethoven stayed and where on the windowsills he, not having time to find papers, hastily recorded the music pouring down to him directly from heaven.
They say that the rentier, the owner of this house, managed not only to sell these window sills dearly to admirers of Beethoven's talent, but also took payment for damage to property from the composer himself.
We were on a spa tour, so we booked a hotel with a spa complex. Spoiled by the Hungarian thermal hotels, we searched in vain for the thermal baths and pools in Baden's Herzoghof. As it turned out, there is only one hotel with its complex in Baden - Royal. In our hotel, two saunas and a relaxation room, as well as a massage room, were responsible for the SPA. Seeing our confusion, the representative of the host company, Mondial Travel, provided our entire group with free vouchers for the famous Roman baths. In general, Yaroslav, the manager of the Mondial company, showed no hefty heroism: our driver (by the way, a woman driving a 40-seater bus) managed to get lost, relying on the navigator.
Having circled around the rainy night Baden, she said that the driving limit was over and we should get to the restaurant on our own. We took a taxi there, and back, kind Yaroslav, having made many trips in his small car, drove almost the entire group to the hotel!
The next morning, having bathed in the Roman baths, relaxed and satisfied, we went to Hungary. I have known this for a long time, but now my guesses have been confirmed completely. The Austrians have always wanted to own Hungary because of the weather. How many times have I left windy and rainy Austria and literally in forty minutes or an hour I ended up in sunny Hungary. Yes, at the place where the eye of any traveler is attracted by electric mills, giant electricity generators arriving in constant motion, at the place where two air fronts (warm Hungarian and cold Austrian) meet, the wind always blows!
We were met in Hungary by the Spirit Hotel in the city of Sarvar. Five-star luxury here is not at all what a European traveler is used to. In the Spirit Hotel, as in the expensive Arab Emirates, a unique design idea is embodied in the technologies of the XXI century. Fantastic impressions are dumbfounded right at the entrance, and then the impression of participation in some kind of film about the golden future of mankind does not leave. We had planned lunch and a tour of the thermal complex.
The dishes, like Michelin-starred restaurants, are concise and very tasty. Catfish ...well, not a single bone, consommé is transparent, tender and very nutritious, a dessert that melts in your mouth. Champagne is served for breakfast here, and the abundance and variety of dishes is such that you don’t want to remember the diet.
After the Baden Roman baths, here in Spirit there was certainly something to be impressed with!
Indoor, outdoor, children's with slides, thermal, sports pools, saunas, tepicandariums, salt rooms ...Yes, you can't list everything. The hotel rooms are also very functional and comfortable, while the prices are at the level of a normal 4 * hotel in Heviz. True, our tourists say that it is tiring to live in this hotel for a long time. Draws in the comfort and home environment. Where we went after Sharvar.
Hello Heviz! Welcome to Europe Fit Hotel! Everything is at home here, familiar and comfortable, there is a staff to help you deal with the procedures in Russian. It is gratifying that every year the hotel is updated, pools are added, rooms are restored. Level 4* plus is supported. I came across a new restaurant interior, it became quite nice, fashionable and glamorous.
We watched the Aqua hotel of the Danubius chain, which operates on an all-inclusive basis.
A great place for families with children, everyone praises the cuisine, a wonderful thermal complex, there is a separate house with entertainment for children on the territory, though the rooms are not all new and crush low ceilings, the hotel was built in Soviet times. But for a four without a plus, it's good.
Hotel Lotus 5 *, which was Rogner and who took the bank for a loan. He is now more successful with the new management. What can I say, the only five on Heviz reminiscent of a good four. The porter at the entrance was not found , some rooms with a shower, far from the lake. But the thermal complex is good! For the sake of it, you can tolerate (again, these low) ceilings and the lack of five-star elements at the entrance.
Hotel Carbona Natur Med 4*. If it were my will, I would award the hotel 5 *. Here it is really the only solid large expensively built hotel in Heviz.
Beautiful and thoughtful, interesting and cosy, with very friendly staff and decent rooms.
By the way, the owners of Carbona built the same Spirit hotel in Sarvar.
Summarizing my notes, I want to note:
1. If you show off, relax and be treated - then Spirit 5 * (Spirit Sarvar 5 *)
2. If with children and be treated - then Aqua 4 * (Danubius Health Spa Resort Aqua 4 *)
3. If you have a good rest and SPA - then Lotus 5 * (Lotus Therme Hotel é s Spa Hé ví z 5 *)
4. If you relax and get treated - then Carbona 4 * + (NaturMed Hotel Carbona 4 * Superior)
5. If treated and treated - then Europe fit 4 * + (Hotel Europa Fit 4 * Superior)
