After a short trip (we left Uzhgorod), the ever-hungry students were pleasantly surprised that goulash was served on the tables in unlimited quantities, as well as wine tasting. Somewhere in the middle of the tasting, several tourists are offered to taste the wine, this is where the competition begins, which at the end is rewarded with a bottle of good wine. (Of course, the students won. ) After a hearty dinner and tasting, they offer to buy wine. As the leader of the group assured us, the wine is not powdered, if you take it in plastic barrels, the price is low. After my students had bought half a store of wine, the group went to spend the night in Budapest at the Atlantic Hotel. Its location is very convenient for tourists, close to the center and inexpensive. The hotel, if you are not tempted by frills, is worthy. What I mean by this concept is that everything works, there is an elevator, Wi-Fi, a buffet like in other hotels. Do not try to take food out of the dining room - everyone is being watched, especially if you come with a bag. The elderly man was shamed and forced to return everything to its place. In the morning sightseeing tour to Buda and Pest by bus. After the tour, they offer an excursion to the city of Szentendre. But we, as economical people, decided that it was too much for one day and went to the baths of Count Szé chenyi on our own. We waited a long time for the waiters to pay attention to us, then they began to read the menu. Everyone came to the conclusion that we want chicken in plum sauce (although it was originally supposed to be a hundred cream sauce). It was saved by the fact that the student is a picky people, they ate meat with jam, paid about 60-80 UAH. for a huge portion (there is a half on the menu, this would be just enough). Full and satisfied, we now want to go to the boat. We persuade the leader to take us by bus to place X and leave us there. It should be noted that a night tour of the Danube costs 30 euros with unlimited champagne. But we do not like the number 30 and we start looking for a boat without champagne. The leader of the group, in full confidence that we will not find the boat, since everything is scheduled long in advance, wishes us good luck and sets sail. Let's start looking for a ship. We go to the pier and see that a man in uniform is walking, somehow serious. We explain in English what we need, add that the students almost have no money, and in response we get an unexpected reaction - 8 euros per person, though without drinks. The British moored, freed the deck and we alone on the ship to the music of Strauss for an hour and a half ride along the night Danube. But all good things come to an end and we need to think about how to get to the hotel. I also want to go to the toilet (it's free at McDonald's, we also had a bite to eat there, and it's cheaper than in Uzhgorod). Stop of the six-car tram, where to buy a ticket. Good Hungarians wanted to help, but we had to spend 40 minutes searching for a hotel with their participation. Finally, we are at the hotel, tomorrow we have an excursion to Vienna.
