Hungary - Austria ("Dreams as a gift").

Bus tour from "Accord". For the first time we went on a trip with "Akkord" (we needed a budget vacation, as we were taking students). Bus "Neoplan", the head of the group is a young guy, drivers from Lviv are courteous and silent. The border was crossed quickly, young students interested young Slovaks at the customs, because of this they had to turn out their suitcases, but everything was fun and pleasant. The first stop is the city of Eger - according to the Hungarians, the capital of winemaking. After a short trip (we left Uzhgorod), the ever-hungry students were pleasantly surprised that goulash was served on the tables in unlimited quantities, as well as wine tasting. Somewhere in the middle of the tasting, several tourists are offered to taste the wine, this is where the competition begins, which at the end is rewarded with a bottle of good wine. (Of course, the students won. ) After a hearty dinner and tasting, they offer to buy wine. As the leader of the group assured us, the wine is not powdered, if you take it in plastic barrels, the price is low. After my students had bought half a store of wine, the group went to spend the night in Budapest at the Atlantic Hotel. Its location is very convenient for tourists, close to the center and inexpensive. The hotel, if you are not tempted by frills, is worthy. What I mean by this concept is that everything works, there is an elevator, Wi-Fi, a buffet like in other hotels. Do not try to take food out of the dining room - everyone is being watched, especially if you come with a bag. The elderly man was shamed and forced to return everything to its place. In the morning sightseeing tour to Buda and Pest by bus. After the tour, they offer an excursion to the city of Szentendre. But we, as economical people, decided that it was too much for one day and went to the baths of Count Szé chenyi on our own. We bought tickets at the box office (about 120 UAH for an unlimited number of hours, but hydrogen sulfide must be obtained gradually, so we swam and sunbathed for no more than 3 hours). Unique place, water t +38 in summer and winter. There are indoor pools, there are under the sky, since the weather allowed, we swam everywhere, moving from pool to pool, looking into saunas and exciting the audience with the beautiful young bodies of my students. A very international audience, you can immediately see the locals, they are already tanned and playing chess right in the water. Here you can have a snack. I must say that at the entrance you are given magnetic bracelets, approach the staff in white coats, they register and give you the locker room number. Bring the magnet to the door - this is the key. Be sure to bring a towel and slippers.

After swimming, we make it to the Vajdahunyad castle, where the most affordable souvenirs are (magnets, paprika, plates) and go to have a bite to eat at the Paprika cafe. From Heroes' Square 15-20 minutes. An institution where they do not like the Russian-speaking audience - such a name would suit this cafe more (subjectively, since people are different everywhere, we were unlucky with the staff). We waited a long time for the waiters to pay attention to us, then they began to read the menu. Everyone came to the conclusion that we want chicken in plum sauce (although it was originally supposed to be a hundred cream sauce). It was saved by the fact that the student is a picky people, they ate meat with jam, paid about 60-80 UAH. for a huge portion (there is a half on the menu, this would be just enough). Full and satisfied, we now want to go to the boat. We persuade the leader to take us by bus to place X and leave us there. It should be noted that a night tour of the Danube costs 30 euros with unlimited champagne. But we do not like the number 30 and we start looking for a boat without champagne. The leader of the group, in full confidence that we will not find the boat, since everything is scheduled long in advance, wishes us good luck and sets sail. Let's start looking for a ship. We go to the pier and see that a man in uniform is walking, somehow serious. We explain in English what we need, add that the students almost have no money, and in response we get an unexpected reaction - 8 euros per person, though without drinks. The British moored, freed the deck and we alone on the ship to the music of Strauss for an hour and a half ride along the night Danube. But all good things come to an end and we need to think about how to get to the hotel. I also want to go to the toilet (it's free at McDonald's, we also had a bite to eat there, and it's cheaper than in Uzhgorod). Stop of the six-car tram, where to buy a ticket. Here's the trick, during the day the machines work, but at night they don't. In the impudent we go into the car (there is no way out) there is a conductor, you can buy a ticket, but it costs half as much. The half-asleep Hungarians on the tram perked up when they saw the emotional young people, woke up, began to smile and react to the phrase "Blaha Luis. " We got to the Blaga Luiza stop, we know that it takes 10 minutes to get to the hotel, but where. It's almost midnight on the street, but no one thinks to sleep, people walk like during the day. Good Hungarians wanted to help, but we had to spend 40 minutes searching for a hotel with their participation. Finally, we are at the hotel, tomorrow we have an excursion to Vienna.
