We rested with a child (8 years old) in this hotel in January 2011 (from the 2nd to the 7th).
I have never written reviews about the hotels I have stayed in, this is the first time, although I have visited 20 countries (Europe and Asia, I have not yet reached America !!! ).
I read some ridiculous comments about this hotel before leaving and now I can't resist my opinion.
I’ll be honest right away, agreeing with the opinion of the critics of the hotel, the hotel is far from the city center, but this does not mean that it takes an hour to drive to the city center !! ! You leave the hotel, turn left, then under the Arpad bridge and you are at the station where the train runs, which is marked green on the city map. The train will take you to Batthyani Square, where the metro station of the same name is located (red metro line), and if you go in the opposite direction from the Arpad Bridge, the train will take you to the wonderful tourist town of Szentendre.

At the same time, it is not necessary to know the Hungarian language, since the words of Arpad and Battyany in Hungarian sound quite distinct and understandable.
It was a minus, and now about the hotel.
Our room was good, it was very warm in the room, there is also an electric kettle, cups and everything that is due to tea and coffee, including a daily supply of bottles of drinking water.
The room was cleaned daily, towels changed every day, bed linen was changed for us 1 time during 7 days of stay.
In the bathroom: toilet, bathtub, sink, towels and bathrobes for visiting the SPA, as well as bottles with shampoo and gel. There are no slippers for visiting the SPA, in my opinion it’s right, it’s more hygienic to have your own!
We only had breakfast. For breakfast, a large selection of dishes, cold drinks, tea, coffee, cocoa and fruits.
True (I do not consider this a minus) the breakfast menu has not changed much, i. e. every day the same thing.
And now about the most important thing, about the SPA of the hotel.
When at the end of the tourist day the legs are buzzing, fatigue presses on the shoulders, how great it is to swim in the pool. By the way, the hotel has three of them: with cool water (26 degrees), as well as two pools with thermal water 33 degrees and 38 degrees. There is also a jacuzzi (large compared to Finnish), Turkish bath and sauna.
The hotel has many SPA treatments, but I did not have the opportunity to use this, because. the child was not pulled out of the pools.
Great hotel!
