My husband and I chose Budapest for a vacation, a "budget" option, a 3 * hotel, so I was afraid that the conditions would not be the best... well, you understand. Moreover, after reading the reviews about the hotel, I completely lost heart.
WHAT WAS MY SURPRISE when I got to the hotel, and in particular to the room!
We, as a married couple, were accommodated in a two-room suite with new light furniture (bar counter, dressing table in the bedroom, wardrobe, small TV, soft corner and double bed)
The toilet is combined with the bathroom, spacious, all in marbled tiles, with a large mirror, and a wall-to-wall worktop, clean.
Cleaned every day, no traces of "climbing" into our things were noticed.
As for breakfast, yes, the cuisine is unusual, mostly spicy, but the choice is large enough and you can not take the main dishes, but you will be perfectly satisfied with coffee with milk, tea, yogurt, juice + buters with various pates and types of sausages. Everything was fresh.
And in general, it’s strange to expect that you will be fed in Hungary with buckwheat porridge with a cutlet. Well, they don’t eat that there!
Separately, they were outraged by the complaints about the location of the hotel. Where did you see the industrial zone there??? ? Did they always come back drunk?
The hotel is located in a normal residential area, close to shops (food and industrial), banks.
By the way, in 5 minutes walk from the hotel there is a church of wonderful beauty, around a small park.
Once again about the hotel, at the reception they speak Russian, everyone is very polite and accommodating.
But of the minuses, I can name only the curtains in the room. There were no holes on them (as they wrote here), but the fabric was not very pretty.
Well, if that's what matters to you, don't stay at this hotel.
And for others who go to see the beauties of old Buda, have fun in the baths, see beautiful paintings in museums, etc. , etc. , and not sit in a room, you are here!
