An island of chaos in an abandoned paradise.

It should be noted right away that much of the description of the Sanur Bali Hayat 5 * hotel is not entirely true.

That is, it is so, but significant circumstances change the essence of the matter. But first things first.

Upon arrival in Denpasar at the airport, I changed 100 USD for 880 thousand rupees. The rate is quite acceptable - usually 900 thousand rupees can be exchanged for the same amount. Having paid 150 thousand rubles for a taxi. in a special taxi bureau, I received a check for a taxi driver with a warning that I would have to wait 20 - 30 minutes. To put it mildly, this is a rather strange situation. A plane arrived with 200 people on board, and there was no one to deliver them... Some tourists began to quarrel with the guy who was in charge of landing in a taxi. Eventually, the guy turned around and left. Probably, it was impossible to look at it without humor from the outside - an angry crowd in a gloomy airport is trying to somehow leave without outside help, not knowing the Malaysian language... But then it was not funny to me - at some point I was even confused - how it would all end ? But this is a common situation for Indonesia - no one needs anything. It's not even about the money - they do not decide anything here. Some tourists rushed in search of a car in an unlit parking lot. We got from the airport to the hotel in two hours, not 20 minutes as in the description, arriving at 9-30 at night. How do you like kilometer-long traffic jams on one-lane roads at 12 midnight in the middle of Denpasar. Impressive? Throw in heavy tropical rain here - it's not the season in Bali in March. But this is only the beginning. The driver refused to take us to the hotel, but brought us to the tourist office. Here, some woman began to demand that we show the hotel reservation - more than a strange situation. The hotel staff is just wild, the sea is knee-deep 200 meters. So if you are going to a Paradise place, then you need to descend from heaven to earth. Bali is not a paradise, but an abandoned place of little use for tourists.
