I don’t know... maybe they did repairs there, maybe people who live exclusively in 4 * and 5 * hotels write reviews, or maybe everyone perceives everything in their own way... Or I just got lucky again)))
In general, this hotel did not seem terrible, terrible and nightmarish to me. The most important thing is to immediately tune in to the fact that this is definitely not 4 *. This is 2*LUX. If it happens of course. )
I had a normal clean room, with clean linens, towels changed daily and quite acceptable furniture (it is not new, but it did not cause negative emotions). The bathroom is also quite clean. I had mild discomfort only from two circumstances - the lack of a remote control from the TV and the heat in the room (the windows open just a little, the air conditioner for some reason only worked for heating).
My room was on the 7th floor, which had a wonderful view of Jerusalem (all the other buildings nearby were much lower).

The street below, of course, is a bit noisy, but after a whole day of walking around Jerusalem, I fell asleep instantly and no noise bothered me.
To the old town 15 minutes on foot, slowly.
Breakfasts are normal: tea, coffee, juices, eggs, vegetable salads, cheese, of course, herring (no one is forced to feed it), all sorts of delicious Israeli pastas and, of course, amazingly delicious Israeli bread. But there really is nothing meat and sausage (but, they say, this is the case almost everywhere in Israel).
All in all, I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. A perfectly acceptable budget option.
By the way, the staff speaks a little Russian.
