I am writing so that people who decide to go to holy places feel comfortable and nothing overshadows their trip to Israel.
I'm sorry I didn't read the review I'm about to write. We scold hotels in Turkey and Egypt. God - it's just a paradise there, compared to the Kikar Zion hotel - if THIS can be called a hotel. You have been in a student hostel. Exactly. Very old - a dirty building with muddy dirty windows, the ceilings were once slatted suspended (so the connecting small slat is missing and falls out of the holes, either insulation, or polyethylene, it’s scary that it will fall on your head, sprinkle....the plumbing is broken in the bathroom, it's just half missing, you hide behind dirty old blankets, they don't know what duvet covers are. And the air conditioner....it's a real tractor that gives out only cold air. To be fair, they cleaned it properly and cleanly, you can't say anything. But there are no ashtrays , no TV remote control. Yes! The TV I don’t know what year, it’s tuned to 1 Russian program - the receiver on the TV sits down and we periodically had to turn it off in order to see the image proooooo. And the smell!!!!! ! There is an old smell all around Mustyness!!! And the furniture!!!! The head of the bed is simply erased by other people's heads. The view from the window - construction - yes, it would not give a damn - inside - the ruins.
As for the kitchen. I concluded, according to the reviews of surrounding tourists, that it is better to look for a hotel in the Arab regions, since, with the deepest respect for the traditions of the inhabitants of the country of Israel, kosher cuisine or the cuisine that we were served is just sheer hunger and cold. In the morning, except for hot coffee - nothing hot. Sooo scarce. And yes, it's very dirty. We accidentally went in 10 minutes before dinner, saw a toooooo thick layer of dust on the food warmers with hot. The napkins are all stained. There's nothing you can do, I had to close my eyes to it, because the most affordable and common food in Israel is shawarma - you can't eat it every day - and it costs 23 - 35 shekels, which is about 200 rubles. The only advantage of the hotel (if you can call it that) is the location - the center. And so basically pilgrims come there - they are patient people - but they are also perplexed about the service. And so, OF COURSE, EVERY PERSON SHOULD VISIT ISRAEL, AT LEAST 1 TIME IN THE LIFE. IT'S UNFORGETTABLE
