In the summer of 2009, I spent a little over a month in this wonderful country. My friend and I stayed with relatives in Givat Olga (this is a suburb of the city of Hadera, located between Netanya and Haifa). There is no entertainment there - only the sea. Therefore, we constantly made “forays” - we went on excursions throughout Israel. After excursions, they often stayed overnight in different cities. As a result, we spent 1-2 nights in different hotels. We decided to go to Jerusalem for 2 days. On the first day we took a tour, and on the second we decided to see the city on our own. When choosing a hotel, we were guided by the location (we wanted in the center) and the price, respectively. As a result, our choice fell on the Kikar Zion hotel. Inspired by a delightful tour of the amazing Jerusalem, we did not pay attention to the interior of our room at all and went to bed almost immediately. As a result, the room seemed very unattractive to us. Everything in the bathroom is very old, the furniture is shabby. There is not enough food for breakfast for everyone and it is tasteless. You have to be the earliest to get something. . Such a negative impression, of course, smooths out the location of the hotel and its price. But now, working for a travel company that specializes only in Israel and Jordan, I do not advise tourists to stay at this hotel. But I recommend that they pay a little more for the Lev Jerusalem Hotel (also located in the center) or the Rimonim Hotel (not located in the center, but the money saved is more than enough for a taxi).
