Over the past few years, the Americana 3 * hotel has been one of the best options in terms of price / quality ratio among economical hotels in Eilat.

This year the hotel has undergone a minor renovation - the lobby and the outer facade of the hotel have been renovated. From the outside, the hotel looks much better now.

The hotel has a fairly large, by Eilat standards, territory, on which there are several buildings and a large swimming pool. By the way, in addition to the outdoor pool, the hotel has a Jacuzzi and a sauna, which guests can use for free. This is not typical for Eilat 3 * and this is a big plus.

The hotel has 2 types of rooms. Standard - ordinary rooms of a small size, in general, without frills, but everything you need is present. There are also larger rooms with a kitchen, for which they charge an additional fee of $ 15-20 per day.

Both those and other rooms can be booked with a balcony and a view of the pool, but for this you will have to pay another $ 20-30 per day. All rooms are not very modern, but clean and tidy, in good condition, nothing broken, loose, etc. In general, no problems for a reasonably comfortable stay.

The road from the hotel to the beach takes 10-15 minutes on foot. It is best to go to the beaches of the Royal Beach, Dan Eilat and Herods hotels, in fact they are the closest to the hotel. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to Americana guests at an additional cost.

I did not find any serious obvious shortcomings, so I can safely recommend it to those who are looking for good accommodation in Eilat at an affordable price.
