Rested in Astral Village in July 2013. I really liked the hotel! Small houses with 8 rooms are scattered around the hotel. Everything in the room is very clean and tidy. Large bed, flat-screen TV (several Russian channels), tea set, refrigerator. The windows are quite small, so the daylight is weak, but I personally like it that way. And it's not hot from the sun, and wakes up better : )
There is no hair dryer in the room, you need to immediately go and ask at the reception. Very kind people work there. They will never refuse. I also had a broken toilet flush button in my room. I complained to the reception, after 5 minutes a plumber came to the room and fixed everything.
Meals were breakfast + dinner. Huge variety of food! For breakfast, a large selection of dairy, a lot of separately chopped vegetables and salads, pastries, omelettes, various side dishes. From coffee drinks, many varieties of tea, juices. You will not find anything meat for breakfast in hotels in Israel - it should be kosher! But there is a fish : ) For dinner, on the contrary, there is plenty of meat, but nothing dairy. A variety of side dishes, again vegetables, chicken, beef, even cooked sushi! You can list endlessly, I will say one thing - you definitely won’t leave hungry, but for me it was some kind of stomach celebration!

We were on Shabbat so the animation was a lot of fun! Songs and dances for the kids, of which there are a lot in the hotel! There was even a pool party after dinner : ) The adults sang karaoke or danced to live music. There are a lot of Israelis in the hotel. It is very interesting to watch them, even if they are noisy : )
From the hotel Astral Village to the beach near 5-star hotels 7-10 minutes walk. I sunbathed at the Royal Beach Hotel. Sunbeds are all paid - 20 shekels per day or until you leave. But you can safely bring your own bedding and sunbathe for free. Why did I sunbathe here? First, there were fewer local noisy youths. And secondly, the beach itself is cleaner and calmer somehow.
I recommend this hotel to everyone - families with children, young people, and people of age.
