Rested with a young man in this hotel from February 23 to March 8.2011. In general, everything is very good, the service and food fully met our requirements, and they are not the lowest. Five minutes walk from the airport! The main disadvantage is not too new furniture. Supervisor Natasha - thank you very much for the excellent service and help!
From the hotel to the beach you have to walk for 10-15 minutes, for us it was not a hard walk.
The main problem is kosher food, that is, no meat and sausage in the morning (we only took breakfast, because we went on excursions). But in principle, this . . opa in all hotels in Eilat. We then found a wonderful bar-restaurant Paddy's next to the hotel on the way to the Mol-Ayam shopping center (or whatever it's called), so there was meat, and ham, and billiards, and everything your heart desires. We also bought food in local grocery stores, everything is again not bad.

They didn’t go to discos, it seems to me that they don’t exist there, but that’s not what they come here for. A lot of people throughout the hotel and the city speak Russian, well, in a pinch, very good English, so you will understand everything. The beach and the sea are excellent, the main thing is to find a place where there are no Russians - it is the cleanest there.
We went on 2 excursions - Jordan with Petra, and to Jerusalem.
Both were not taken at the hotel, because. traveled "savages" (i. e. just booked a hotel and plane tickets). Look near the beach for decent enough tour agencies with Russian guides. Petra - amazing, be sure to take a ride, do not spare the money (200-250 dollars for one with food) !! ! As for Jerusalem - for me it’s not very, too vain and noisy, but, of course, it is also necessary to visit.
We were also “savages” in the Oceanarium, I don’t remember the exact name, it is located 10 kilometers from the hotel, you need to take a taxi - a chic place with a very rich collection of fish and all kinds of marine reptiles, as well as watching a movie.
Back to the hotel itself. There is no animation, these are not THE SAME countries for you. This is not expected here. Every evening there were songs in the hall in Hebrew, that's all the fun. Personally, we had a room overlooking the park, took with a balcony, 1st floor. There we sat in the evenings, if we didn’t go to play billiards or go to the beach. Wine is good and cheap everywhere, will brighten up the time for anyone.
The pool is excellent, we were also out of season, so it was completely empty.
So, summing up all of the above, we recommend this hotel for a more or less relaxing holiday, it is possible with children, only then take it with a balcony. Suitable for the elderly too. In general, for everyone who is not going to hang out, but for those who want to see the beautiful country of hardworking people and swim in the sea.
