We visited Israel in November 2012, the goal was to see the country, lived with friends in Jerusalem, went to Eilat for 3 days, for a little relaxation)))
The hotel was booked for us by our Israeli friends. We did not take part in the choice of the hotel, we trusted their opinion, therefore we do not make any claims, especially since the rest on the basis of breakfast was not expensive for us. Check-in took about an hour, because. could not find our reservation in any way, and could not understand how we booked it at such a low price from an Israeli site, if we are citizens of Ukraine. They tried to raise the price by 2 times, but after a stormy conversation with our friend on the phone, the price remained unchanged. We paid extra 50 shekels upon check-out, as they explained to us for the difference in the course, but then we didn’t argue, it was a pity for the nerves and did not want to spoil the impression of this wonderful town.
The hotel turned out to be average, the furniture is stray, but the mattresses and linen are all new and clean. Cleaned well, hearty breakfast. Because we left the hotel after breakfast and went back to sleep, then we can say that the hotel did not leave any negative: rust in the bathroom, broken hair dryers and lack of foam and soap products did not have time to strain us. A wonderful guy Sasha works at the hotel at the reception, he is happy to help in any question. The pool at the hotel is tiny, but who goes to Eilat to the pool)) On the day of check-in, they saw from the balcony of the room how the girl sang there, entertaining the small audience by the pool. Sincerely, I must say, she sang.

Go to the beach at a slow pace for 10 minutes, not at all stressful, the sea is warm, clear, quiet and smooth)) Relaxed to the fullest))
We visited a number of restaurants, of those that sunk into the soul: the Russian restaurant "Zaliv" (you will definitely get into it, they invite you on every corner) and Mike's place restaurant (there is a very soulful atmosphere, live music and a wonderfully singing guy guitarist).
Eilat shopping added its own kolotiru, we made a number of joyful purchases there.
Eilat left a warm mark on my soul. We had a wonderful 3.5 days. Of course, we had a wonderful 14 days, Israel is a wonderful multifaceted country, which I really want to return to.
