I know that many people want to get acquainted with the reviews of tourists before the trip, so I decided to write my impressions of a holiday in Israel. We first came to Eilat for a week. The hotel was chosen by location (proximity to coral reefs), well, by star rating. My experience is a 4* hotel. The kitchen completely satisfied us, it was delicious and a lot of everything. The lack of sausage and meat for breakfast did not bother us at all, and so we managed to overeat. Dinner was well stocked and tasty. The hotel is beautiful, large balconies, the view from the windows is good from any direction, the rooms are large enough, clean. I was surprised that, unlike European hotels, NO ONE of the servants says hello, neither the maids, nor the one who gives out towels at the pool, nor in the restaurant. In short, very unfriendly staff. Not rude, just indifferent. I was also unpleasantly struck by one moment: at 7 in the morning the temperature is already over 30, and the sunbeds on the beach are chained up until 9-00. By the way, for a 5 * hotel, the sunbeds are old and dirty. Sunbeds are rented to anyone for 20 shekels, for hotel guests - free of charge, but if you are late on a day off, you can sunbathe while standing. We did not see any entertainment in the hotel such as discos for a week. So just relax and enjoy the sea. Overall, not bad, but not great. If you go for the Red Sea, then in Egypt 5 * is MUCH better. But we chose Israel not only for the sake of the sea. By the way, we went on an excursion to Jordan, to Petra. They were satisfied. Then for 3 days we moved to the Meridian hotel on the Dead Sea. Although the same 5 *, but the hotel is better. Have a good rest and more positive emotions!
