- Very small room, at least we had - 150€/2 nights.
- You can catch the plane almost by hand from the window of the room!
- We are non-smokers with my wife, the smell passed through the walls - horror.
- In the evening, falling asleep, you can hear the conversation of the same couple according to the words, horror.
Conclusion: If it were not for the transparency of the walls, we would have returned. But we are still trying other options.

The hotel is very modest and therefore budget friendly. In the rooms and on the territory everything is the simplest, in gray tones. All tourist life in Eilat is concentrated by the sea. There is no one there, but there is a shopping center, a promenade for evening walks, pharmacies, exchange offices, clothing, footwear, and cosmetics stores. And from Arcadia Spa to the sea it is very far to go - you need to walk to the airport, bypass the runway and at least another 15 minutes on foot. The hotel is located among residential buildings. It is suitable for tourists who prefer to see not a tourist wrapper, but the filling of a residential city. This is part of Eilat with its usual measured life - cars, traffic lights, oriental cafes, markets, shops, supermarkets. Every day you are definitely not at the sea... You need to either rent a car for a long stay, or stay for only a couple of days, if you still go to the beach on foot.

I'll start with the main thing, on the third I forgot the Galaxy 2 phone with a 32 GB card on the table - they stole it, the director refers to the free safe in the room and refused to compensate. In the summer, this hotel may have security, but now there is often no one at the reception, come and go, no problem, there is a device that encodes the key cards, and an outsider can do this. Those. there is simply no safety and security. Further, the Russian-speaking staff is one Alice, who naturally cannot work 24 hours a day, she works in shifts. Accordingly, if it is not there, and you do not speak English or Hebrew very well, then understanding your question, alas... is postponed. The hotel simply does not have a territory, a swimming pool, about 10x20 meters and 3 sunbeds (2 broken) and about 7 chairs. However, do not sit for a long time, the flies will bite, the staff put a couple of bins there, apparently not only for cleanliness, but also to attract flies. the state of repair is purely in the mind, not so that it shone and shone, but in order to somehow work, for example, a shower with a bar is broken, a hook is screwed next to it and another shower is hung on it, not the most important things may be missing in the plumbing, for example, a pull for a closer there is one in the sink, but the closure itself has long been gone, and so everything is not very neatly done, it can be seen that they were doing repairs hastily at a cheap price.
The soundproofing in the rooms is weak, you can hear the conversation in the next room or the TV, though unintelligible.
Meals, it's just as lucky, dinner can be two main courses, or maybe three fish meat chicken. True vegetable cutting is quite diverse, several sauces. True, tea is only in the morning or in the room, in the evening there is only water on the tables, maybe it’s somehow kosher. In the morning, the toaster is one piece of everything, maybe, or maybe not. Cappuccino coffee from the machine, also not every time. The buns are really good, but they are purchased, i. e. they don't bake themselves. Save guys on everything. It seems that they often slip something that they haven’t eaten before.
2 Russian channels, not two, but one and a half, one without sound, but in the last 4 days, something happened to their cable broadcasting and our first program - ORT disappeared, on the second RTV-1 the sound is slightly - you can hear at full sound level appeared for one day and disappeared again, the first program never appeared. So you can enjoy programs in Hebrew, Arabic and English. The director says one phrase to that morrow, i. e. in the morning they say we will do it, and so every day, and the ordinary staff naturally refers to him.
The beach simply doesn’t have its own, the fact is that with rare exceptions, in Eilat the beaches are free - come and swim, but pay money for sunbeds and sun loungers, somewhere around 20 shekels. So why not proudly declare that the hotel there is a beach. . .
The hotel is located practically in a working area, normal hotels are on the other side of the airport or closer to the sea. Animation estesstvenno no TV and he can not fix. True, frightening ads all around, taken out of the dining room food - are automatically included in the room bill. Telephone in the room, only for internal communication, you can not call anywhere from it. Internet Wi-Fi, well, very close to the reception, a little further all the signal is bad. When I left, schoolgirls began to arrive there in droves, apparently some kind of state event, and here is a cheap hotel. Those that are more decent, see the price did not fit.
In general, this is not a hostel hotel for emigrants and business travelers (those who are poorer), but I got 10 days at a full price of 42.5 thousand rubles. Yes, and a phone for more than 20 thousand rubles. stolen In general, this is one of the worst hotels compared to others in Eilat.
So judge for yourself whether it is worth contacting such a hotel.

All appliances worked properly: fan, air conditioning, kettle, LCD TV. There are channels in Russian. Breakfasts are varied. There were pastries, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, potatoes, spaghetti, various cereals, yogurts, salads, vegetables. Tea, coffee, juices, water - free of charge. Minus - no sausages and other meat products, but this is the specifics of the country: it is not kosher to mix dairy and meat products. In a word, the breakfasts are fresh, tasty, quite varied, they didn’t have time to get bored in a week. We didn't take dinner so I can't comment. The staff is very polite. They were always helpful and answered questions in detail. Almost everyone speaks Russian. The pool is not very big. Depth approximately 120 to 160. Clean. By the way, towels are given out for free and you can even take them to the sea. Safe is free. The sea is really far away - 15 minutes walk. But we took the car and drove to the coral reef. In general, the hotel makes a very favorable impression. I recommend.

But small and cozy. Always clean, sheets and towels are changed every day. Beach towels are free. The safe is free in the room. TV is good, 3 Russian channels. To the beach step by step - 15 minutes. But it's not bad to take a walk after breakfast! AND. . . healthy. And it's a lie that in the evening there is one boiled chicken and not fresh. For the 11 days that we were there, there was always chicken (not boiled, but fried, with a crust), meat in pieces, fish in pieces, and meat and fish cutlets. It was every day! Is that a little? If not enough, mercy in 5 *. Nobody forbids. Salads. . . mmm, the first time I hear that something was not fresh. Weird. Yes, they are repeated. But there were 20 of them every day! Change yourself. The room is definitely small. But that didn't bother the two of us. Hotel in the city center. You don't have to go far to walk in the evening. Of course, there are also disadvantages: there were never any animations. Rather, the hotel is more suitable for a quiet and comfortable stay. . Young people can choose another one, and naturally it will be much more expensive. We went there to rest on the sea, and not in a hotel. There are 2 Russian-speaking people at the reception (Misha and Asya, both from Russia). Whatever you ask, without any problems, everyone will tell you what, where and for what)))). We did not need a representative from the Travel Agency (Yulya, Southern Cross). Only once that we took a tour through it. Because they have their own buses. Travel agency is normal, there were no problems with it. Before departure, as they have already written here, they "shmanat" seriously. First, the psychologist professionally asks. Depending on the answer, he sticks numbers either on the suitcase or on all things. At the second stage, there is still control, and sweats through a translucent "gun" and a couple more questions. Like, where did you buy it, in which store, did you take it from the shelf yourself or served it to you. I said that I personally took it. You need to answer seriously (after all, this is their job), without grimacing, but not shrinking either. For example: they say, where were your things after checking out from the hotel and before boarding the bus? I said that with me. I didn’t let the suitcase out of my hands, I packed it myself, no one gave me gifts for transportation. All my things. Etc. Nobody checked our suitcase and all hand luggage. By the way, there were 15 such questions. But many of them were serious. They shook everything out, checked every rag. I don't even know how they answered the questions. Maybe they were trying to joke. This is impossible. People at work. Our safety depends on it. So I can’t say anything bad about the airport (Ovda). People are doing the right thing. By the way, we were at the Dead Sea, where the medical ridge is expensive. On the beach in Cleopatra, it costs exactly 3 times cheaper. AND . . take checks. And remember where and what you bought. Having said that I don’t remember, you really get to the inspection with "addiction")))) You should not take a separate excursion to the Dead Sea. You can't swim there for more than 15 minutes. We took from the Southern Cross ($ 150) It included: the Dead Sea (1 hour is enough), a survey of Jerusalem, Bethlehem (a survey and the Temple of Christ, where he was born) and something else there, I don’t remember))), then we returned to Jerusalem, the old city, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, saw the life-giving cross, the Wailing Wall, had lunch there (included in the price). We returned back at night. The hotel has a bus station. Platform 7, bus No. 15 there and No. 16 (aka) back. Drive all the way to the aquarium. You can pick up your ticket directly from the driver there and back. He understands Russian. The price is something around 7 shekels for two, but I don’t remember exactly. In this aquarium (entry 99 shekels per person) the entire underwater world of the Red Sea is presented. There are sharks and turtles, corals and the whole set of fish. You look at all this charm, dropping 5 meters below sea level, through the glass. At 11 sharks are feeding (they are different from 50 cm to 2 meters! ). Interesting. There is no point in buying a tour. Significantly more expensive and you will be limited in time. Buses run there and back every hour. He will bring you back to the bus station, to the hotel. There you can walk "savage" at least a whole day. Where and what kind of fish and animals - everything is written in Russian, everything is clear. A tour guide is not needed. And another minus: kosher food (although my wife liked it) - it is more dairy in the morning, and meat in the evening. Can't be mixed. And water. . . !! ! She's still cool in Eilat. 20 in the morning, 23 in the afternoon. After swimming for a night, you get warm. So be tolerant)))). The city is quiet and calm. Almost every store has Russian speakers. Change currency - no problem. The people there are normal and adequate. If necessary, they will help and advise. In general, we liked everything. Ready to go there again.

From the rest I got what I wanted.
The hotel is modest - more like a motel, the range of services is very modest.
To the sea 20 min walk. In general, the town itself is very small, cozy.
The local airport is located right in the city, but this does not interfere with the rest.
In general, people in Eilat are kind and respectful towards tourists.
Prices in stores are quite high, and the rest itself (excursions and meals) is cheap
don't call. . .
The overall impression is a solid four.
If not for one BUT... - the methods of work of the Israeli security screening service at the airport of departure!
People who have previously visited this resort warn about this... behave respectfully,
be polite to the officers... show everything they say for inspection...
But these are just words, but in life it looks like this:
Ovda airport, 03/20/11, Israeli Airlines flight 6Н813.
found fault with everyone - deleting all photos that are not credible to the security service
and erasing the video is standard and you need to be prepared for this... spoiled photo and video
technique - as a result...
further, digging in all things in search of what is not known... stripping to underpants... (may, by the way, more,
than "underpants", and you are a man or a woman - it doesn’t matter)... rude comments on what and how
to do... that the plane is about to fly away - they don't give a shit (they said so)...
took away all things, with them on the plane they returned only a T-shirt, jeans, shoes and a phone (which looked
as if tanks were driving over it and defecating on it)...
on a request to give at least a jacket (in Moscow, on the night of arrival -3) - it was refused (quote: "We don't care")...
showed the direction where the plane is and said to go, otherwise it will fly away without you...
Upon receipt of baggage in Moscow, it was found:
that creams "for and after sunburn" are squeezed out directly into the package (in which they were wrapped) and thrust into the suitcase in this form;
a precious stone (diamond) bought in a jewelry store (a gift for a girlfriend) has disappeared (right with the packaging
and check). . .
LIKE THIS. . . what is the purpose of all this? incomprehensible... can cause disgust for the whole country and unwillingness
ever go back there again?
I'm not scaring anyone - just telling how it happened...

The next day, at our request, they moved to another room. The air conditioner does not work, the control panel itself is broken and hangs. An unopened melon in a supermarket bag mysteriously disappeared from the room. The food is monotonous, the choice is small. Basically, these are cucumbers, tomatoes, eggs and....fish, which tourists could not eat for all 6-8 days for various reasons. Judge for yourself about respect for tourists. They don’t want to invest in reconstruction, so at least they would liquidate the devastation, but feed them edibly, not up to restaurant food! They disappointed us with their hospitality. About the guide. Before going on a boat to the sea, she was asked about drinks, because food was included in the price. They assured that everything would be fine. As a result, everyone was with drinks bought in advance in stores, and we had to buy at exorbitant prices on the boat. Not impoverished, but very unpleasant. Rating 3 with a minus.

In the evening, on top of everything else, a cockroach crawled under the bed. It’s really 20 minutes to stomp to the sea, the beaches are municipal, dirty, sun loungers are paid 20 shekels. (~ 200 rubles), it hurts to go into the sea. The food at the hotel is absolutely monotonous, only apples and oranges from fruits. Regarding cleaning, the room is really cleaned every day, but not very well.
Despite all these disadvantages, our cheerful company had a very good rest. In the end, we are not going to spend time in the room, but still, if there are other options, choose them!
