We are happy with our vacation, the weather was good, the temperature during the day was from 24 to 28 in the shade, in the sun it was more than 30 degrees, the water temperature was from 20 to 24 in the sea and 37 in the SPA and the "fresh" pool on the street. You can sunbathe and swim daily: from 8:00 in heated pools, from 10 to 16 in the sea (although some swim in the sea from dawn to dusk, but at +18 on the street it is not very comfortable, as, however, in windy conditions). The staff at the hotel is friendly, many Russian speakers, the food is varied, they cook deliciously, a lot of vegetables, salads, snacks, fish in the morning and evening, meat for dinner, Every evening 4 varieties of ice cream, fruits every other day, but in the morning fresh grapefruits and dates, juices . Cleaning is daily, bed linen and towels are constantly changed. The only negative is the small rooms (I can’t imagine how 2 adults and a child can live in a standard room) and a tiny balcony, but we didn’t stay in the room very often. The street towels are good and changed without restrictions. The SPA is small, if there are not enough sunbeds, then there are a lot of chairs. Only sauna and jacuzzi are free, hammam and spa procedures are paid, but prices are affordable. Territory - a well-kept garden with hammocks, swings, lawns, there is a cafe with billiards. Of the 8 floors with rooms only from the 5th to the 8th floor, there are not very many people. The location of the hotel is good, in the center of Ein Bokek. There is another plus: there is a river with a waterfall near the mountains (they say that the water is with radon), we went there in the mornings (when there were no excursions): 2 hours for a walk to the waterfall and back + swimming = a lot of fun! We were on excursions in Masada, Ein Gedi, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Eilat, Tel Aviv-Yafo. This time we were more lucky with the guide, we saw more than on our previous visit in 2009. According to the locals, now "LOT" is one of the best hotels on the Dead Sea in terms of price / quality ratio, taking into account its own beach.
