In July 2013, I visited Israel for the second time in my life. And I also visited the Dead Sea for the second time, and in several hotels! The Oasis Dead Sea hotel made the greatest impression on me. From the other two - Lot and Tsell Harim - I did not expect any special surprises. I saw them myself, tourists told me about them... But I knew little about Oasis. I didn’t even think that I would recommend it to tourists as 3 * with a plus!
Reception at Oasis Dead Sea 3+* and Spa Club 4* hotels is shared. The lobby is large in size with permanent air conditioning and cold water with ice. I have never met Russian-speaking staff at the reception, but there is a counter with cosmetics and jewelry in the lobby. The sellers there speak Russian, so there will be no problems. Also, every hotel employee is ready to help solve any problem. The longer I was in Israel, the more helpful people I met! It is a fact.
Wi-Fi in the hotel is free, but only 1 hour per day. To gain access, you need to go to the reception and ask for a receipt, which contains the username and password. Each time the username and password are different, you won’t be able to log in again : (

The territory is small, a lawn, a couple of hammocks... Everything is very compact. The pool is also small. There is an awning above it, so you can cool off a little in the heat. Towels for the pool and SPA must be taken at the counter at the SPA complex or at the reception in the SPA itself. When checking into a hotel, each tourist is given a card for these towels. It needs to be changed to them. When you return the towels, you take your card back. The system is simple and convenient.
The Oasis hotel beach is across the road, 30 seconds walk, but there is a shuttle service. On the beach there are umbrellas, sun loungers, chairs, cold drinking water.
You can talk about food endlessly. Very wide variety of dishes - both for breakfast and dinner. Hot, salads, sweets! Everything is very delicious. I tried to take very small portions in order to try as much as possible. Drinks for breakfast - tea, coffee, juice - free of charge. For dinner, only water is free of charge.
The room is not very spacious, but not cramped either. Large bed, very soft and comfortable. The room has an LCD TV, tea set, safe. The bathroom had a bath, not a shower, shampoo gels, hair dryer. I felt comfortable and pleased to be in the room. Very stylish color scheme, which was pleasing to the eye.
The whole hotel, as well as the rooms, has a very pleasant smell. The room is cleaned every day, I was satisfied with the cleaning.
I did not order any SPA procedures, but I heard other tourists talking about good service. The SPA complex has a pool with Dead Sea water and a jacuzzi. There are always a lot of people, especially the elderly. In general, young people are rarely seen at the Dead Sea, after all, the main contingent is people of the age who go for treatment and rehabilitation.
Summing up, I can say that I liked everything in the hotel! I am sure that there will be tourists who will remain dissatisfied with something. I am a person who sees the positive in everything. And I wish the same to all tourists!
